mcsey
I have an Apple network at a school, and I was just given a bunch of PCs via donation. I don't want to let Windows infect my network so my obvious solution is Linux. I threw Ubuntu 8.04 (and Edubuntu) onto a couple of the machines and it flies (of course), and I now I need to integrate them into my network infrastructure. I can get them to authenticate to an OS X 10.4.11 server via ldap, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get a dynamic (username based) network share. I know I need to use NFS to do this, but it scares me;) So any NFS gurus out there, or at least someone that can point me a tutorial that I haven't found in a couple of hours of googling? Thanks.
