Defending against Jasager

Recommended Posts

That is a good idea while you are at home, but lets say you are not at home and you are traveling. There will be a point where you just connect without thinking about it (it happens we are all human). I would like to see some sort of application that would pop up a window with some granular information about the access point so I can plainly see whether it's a Fon or not. Wait a tick, I could work on that next semester in Java.

The only scary thought is that someone with enough savvy could apply Jasager (or something like it) to a Cisco router and apply a clever naming scheme.
