twiztedtech Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Thanks for your help!! I need to build a Movie/Recording studio like the one Hak5 uses to produce there show. My question is does anyone have any recommendation on what type of equipment I should use for my first studio. I have already looked at a Mac pro as the starting machine to do my editing on. And I’m looking to use Finale cut studio and Adobe's CS4 Master Suite for editing platforms. What i need are recommendation on prosummer vs hdcam's (ie Canon XH A1 vs Canon Vixia HG20 etc .. ) i will be shooting on location and in the studio. and audio equipment (do i need a mixing board and so on) what are the best mike for under 200$ that work well (i never see Hak5 mic's ) lighting ( need to know where to find really good starter kits something like(Cool Flo Lights) Oh and I have a budget of 10,000$ but I would like to only spend 5k so that I can afford to max out the ram in the Mac Pro Please help ..
