windows has a lot of programs that linux doesn't. a lot of the people here at least dual boot linux. there is a substitute for pretty much all windows native programs. so what programs do you guys use to substitute the windows native programs you used.

i use

program------substitute

bitcomet------ktorrent

gateway webcam software-------cheese

the kmplayer------vlc

winamp-----amarok or xmms2 with various frontends

photoshop cs3-----the gimp

hydraIRC-------xchat with the gnome irc frontend

thats it so far

no wine programs please. just the substitute programs. if you can use the same program in linux that you do windows its not exactly a substitute now is it?
