Making an Autorun.exe/Splash Load for my USB App

Hi Folks,

I was pointed to this forum from NEOWIN so I hope you can help me on my project.

I XAMPP and all the stuff I need loaded and working on my USB but I can't seem to figure out the best way to get it to load.

I've written an AUTORUN.inf and I have tried to use AUTORUNPRO but I get an error as attached

My AUTORUN.inf looks like this:

open=AutoRunPro.exe
icon=favicon.ico

[AutorunPro]
Run1=E:\xampp\xampp_start.exe
Run1=E:\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox\ffp.exe http://localhost/

What I would like to do is:

Open a Splash graphic, Start XAMPP and minimize the CMD window or hide it so they can't close it and have to use the xampp_stop to stop XAMPP. Start the XAMPP control panel and minimize that and then open FireFoxPortable with the http://localhost/ loaded as default.

If there is a way to remove all the search bars etc from the window it loads that would be great too.

Look forward to reading any suggestions.

Oh btw the system is a Portable PHP & MySQL Nursery Management System hence the name.

Have you tried to locate the defaults file?

"Could not open required defaults file"
