tekio
I'd really like to get a Dell Mini9. My biggest worry is the SSD write speed. Is the 16GB SSD that comes in the Mini 9 fast enough for a good computing experience? I'm really hesitant about the SSD after experiences with the poor 16GB in the Eee 900. VaKo
It depends on your expectations tbh, installing windows and running updates took awhile but generally its a nice little system. If you want to do something that needs heavy disk i/o its not the system for you, get a full size laptop, but if you want a small computer to browse the web, connect to other machines or watch a video on its nice. Having the SSD means that its way more rugged.
stingwray
Hell, the Mini9 runs OSX now, so it'll be fine. Any of the SSDs in Netbooks arn't going to get you much performance, but I believe the 16GB one in the Mini9 isn't bad, the small capacity ones are worse though apparently.
