  1. Hello! I tryied to watch a video off the "Tech Roady" youtube channel on one of Hak5 products, and when I pressed the video my avast antivirus showed the following message: What is going on here? If it is actually an intended virus, how is it possible to do that through youtube? When I opened it again, this time by pasting the link, the video started playing while displaying only the video, and the antivirus stopped the virus again. This is the link of the video I tryied to watch. DO NOT open without protection: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaD-5_ubPRc XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  3. Hello, on my channel LiveOverflow (https://www.youtube.com/c/liveoverflowctf) I upload videos about hacking and recordings of myself playing security CTFs. Currently I run two courses - One is about binary stuff (buffer overflows, format string exploits, etc.), and just recently I started with the web security course: binary: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhixgUqwRTjxglIswKp9mpkfPNfHkzyeN https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhixgUqwRTjx2BmNF5-GddyqZcizwLLGP Besides those courses I also make short series about various stuff like "reverse engineering the remote of my air conditioner and creating a simple logic analyzer with an arduino": Or videos about playing security CTFs with added commentary and explanations: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhixgUqwRTjywPzsTYz28I-qezFOSaUYz I think it's ideal for people who love to explore underlaying concepts rather than just using some tools other people made. Maybe you can check out some of my recent videos and give me some feedback on how to improve things. Thank you, kind regards ~LiveOverflow

  5. Hello all, A long time ago, I fell off the Hak5 wagon, and stopped watching. Now, I'm back, and ready to soak up all that I've missed. The only problem is that I'm pretty well dug in with gpodder as far as my podcast viewing/listening goes, and I can only get Hak5 itself through an RSS feed. Metasploit Minute, TekThing, and Threat Wire don't show their own RSS links, except for YouTube. Don't get me wrong. I watch stuff on YouTube. Well, sometimes. But I want to grab the episodes by show and throw them into gpodder. Since YouTube has removed their RSS feed links in favor of OPML, I can get all the shows, but it's all under one big feed and doesn't separate them at all. This is, to put it bluntly, a nightmare to sort through. It doesn't even show where each episode came from in some cases. I've done about an hour's worth of Googling, and could probably get it figured out in 2 or 3 more, but I figured I would appeal to the community for suggestions or tips on how I can try to get this set up. Thanks in advance.

  7. Here is my first little ducky program. You plug it it opens a youtube url and puts it in fullscreen. This could work awesomely on any kind of kiosk machine where you have a usb port available (physically). During my test sometimes it didnt work the first time I entered it on different machine, my guess is if you change the first delay youll have it working. It seems to be depending on how long the computer takes time to install the new device. anyways here it goes. REM Title: Youtube Roller REM Author: Aprizm REM Description: This scripts opens a youtube video in fullscreen and puts the browser in fullscreen REM Option : if you change the link of the video dont forget to change the watch with watch_popup to have it fullscreen also add &loop=1 at the end to make it loop forever DELAY 5000 GUI r DELAY 50 STRING http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=qTkFw4q8CZw&loop=1 ENTER DELAY 1000 F11 [/CODE] enjoy :) ps: the link used in the code is kind of a EPIC SAX player and it goes for like 1h . (loop code added to the url) Peace codaz
