  1. So this is basically an update to my post here: I didn't know how the person got my RAT in the first place and how they got onto my computer. Now I know that it wasn't someone that got into my Computer because of the cracked version of the Rat-Program - even though there was a silent monero miner in it - but it was someone that got my file from VirusTotal. It's a site where you can scan files and see which out of like 50 antiviruses detect it. I didn't know that they distribute the files and that you can straightly DOWNLOAD them from the site. So someone was probably running a bot on a Virtual Machine, that downloads all files that get flagged as a rat by the antivirus programs on VirusTotal and download them. I remember that I once saw a video on YouTube where someone was able to get into the machine of someone that tried to RAT him by using the file of that person. So is there a way that someone used my file to get into my computer? What are they able to do with it? Thanks for any answers ;) PS: From now on, if I have to use a online virus scanner, I'm using nodistribute ^^
  2. Attempting to set up nano, using Kali Linux amd64 in Virtual Machine. The nano ran through the initial firmware setup fine along with password settings for Attempted to install wp6.sh, and got to step 3 of 3 where it's saying "select wifi pineapple interface" and it doesn't recognize the Nano. ifconfig shows eth0 and lo iwconfig shows eth0 and lo with no wireless extensions. I have internet through my laptop wireless, and the Virtual machine is connected. Attempted to load bulletins and have no connection on Under USB in Kali Linux it shows ASIX ELEC CORP AX88x72A [0001] -> says it's active, but when selected I get the error dialog..... USB device 'ASIX Elec. Corp. AX88x72A' with UUID {15a2110c-4160-44aa-9c95-ffe126f16982} is in use by someone else. Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) Component: HostUSBDeviceWrap Interface: IHostUSBDevice {c19073dd-cc7b-431b-98b2-951fda8eab89} Callee: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

  4. Can you take a Mark 5 pineapple out of the box and plug and play with a Windows 7 box or do you need to run a virtual machine on the Windows box first. I ask as VM machine scares the hell out of me. Full cred to those very kind souls who help answer and fix this and other problems. I don't know if they go by a handle. They check in on the new stuff posted page at the Hak5 Forum each day where they find the new stuff...easy stuff,(like mine and hard stuff like, What is the answer............... forty ummm?)sniff over your problem and we the end user expect the world and they expect nothing for just helping. A rant, sorry to all. Ps. One smart trick to problem solving is give as much info as you can ( no book writing). And check the forum first to see if some problem like yours has already been fixed. Enough said, and I'll be the first to be told that my request is in the Forum :-/ all good fun. many thanks for taking the time to read this :-D
