  1. Hello all, I'm currently in my last year of a "Networking & Security" study in The Netherlands. To finish my education I'm currently working on a graduation project where I'm looking to set-up a "system" that, when a SALT state has been altered, runs this on a test machine which then runs a security compliance scan (based on predefined baselines (like SCAP or XCCF)) or a vulnerability (CVE's) scan on the "new" configuration. For this I've been looking at existing tools that perform these types of scans (OpenSCAP, CIS-CAT, Nessus, OpenVas), but I was wondering if any of you know

  3. Hi all, im undergoing a project to determine which penetration testing tools are better suited for information gathering when using Kali to attack a Metapsloitable 2 machine and a Windows XP SP3 machine. All of this research and testing is focusing on users with limited knowledge who may be just starting out in terms of testing tools. The three tools that were chosen to compare were Nmap, Unicornscan and Dmitry and the returned results were as follows: Metasploitable 2 Windows XP Nmap 23 3
  4. Hi, I'm looking for a way to test payloads in virtual machines. Unfortunately I'm failing by now... I tried to start the payload scripts with LED B sleep 10 before setting the BashBunny to an attack mode. The idea was that I have 10 sec to connect the device to the virtual machine. But it doesn't seem to work... Payload pauses (LED isn't Blue) and then runs script without me having the chance to connect it to the vm... Has anybody a idea or uses the BashBunny with VMs for testing?
  5. Hello. I am new to this forum so if this thread needs to be moved somewhere else, please let me know. Sorry in advance. I have built a hacking lab for testing purposes. I have a target router which leads to a MitM device and a switch. The switch connects two target machines and a hacking machine. I want to supply internet access to the two target machines by connecting the router to my main router, thus giving it internet access (currently the router is not supplying internet). I have heard it is a bad idea to give labs internet access (for obvious reasons). Is there a safe an
  6. Hello All, Not sure how I missed it but only just started to an interest into WiFi pineapple and it is AWESOME! Caut the new Let's Code and really stoked seeing the dev in my favourite languages PHP and AngularJS. Have added the Pineapple to my cool list and will getting the Nano ASAP. Have a question I have had for a while, looking for a spectrum analyser for testing a client's house/office. Was looking at WiSpy but $1159 is bit steep for something I might only need a once or twice a year. Any suggestions recommendations ? I have WiFi analyser on my Android, which is great for simple channe
