Hi guys, Apologies if this is a bit of a simple question, I've not come across it before and a Google search yielded a lot of irrelevant results. Is there a simple way to tell if a PC was Restarted or Shut Down on it's last power down? As in, tell if the user selected 'Restart' or selected 'Shut Down' within Windows 7? Thank you.

I have, in my setup "DIP Switch Configuration", the following commands: ifconfig wlan1 down; iwconfig wlan1 monitor mode; ifconfig wlan1 up; kismet_server For DIP 2: 0, DIP 3: 0 and DIP 4: 0. I turn off my WiFi Pineapple, I put switches on 0 0 0 and I turn it on. I wait several minutes (20 min) and I unplug. Ohai! Maybe it's a stupid question, but I want to be sure: is it risky to poweroff the pineapple just unplugging the PWR cable? Do i have to ssh into the pineapple and power it off by "shutdown" or "poweroff"? To power it on, after shutted it down with the command, do I just have to plug in the PWR cable? Is there a certain sequence of actions I have to do to correctly power on/off the pineapple? Sorry again, but it's an expensive toy and I don't want to break it :P Thanks in advance!
