  1. Hi, I'm trying my pineapple nano, which is amazing. And I noticed one thing, a device is connecting when I start my AP without any filter. It never gets any IP and eveytime I kick it out it connects again with a new ssid that looks like some encoded string : ..X;......(.Fz@.2g.y..b.9.rEV.l or f2..1X.Z%]..X.^.......T...tA!=.. I was wondering what kind of device could have this kind of behaviour. Anybody noticed that before?
  2. Hello, do you guys know if it's possible to capure Client(s)-to-WifiRouter(s) probe request, just like Karma does, but without "answering" to any of those requests by using python? I mean, to passively monitor surrounding devices' probes and log them in to a text file or something, but be invisible in their wifi network list. Any python libraries suggestions would be appreciated!
  3. I'm wondering if its possible for the pineapple to do a client based wifi survey so that it's keeping a log of all wifi enabled devices in a broadcast area ? In theory this would just be broadcasting a probe and keeping a list of mac addresses which respond. Does this functionality exist natively or via an infusion ?
  4. I'm using probeSniffer to log probe requests. I'm on Kali 2.0 using an Alfa AWUSO36NH wireless adapter in monitor mode. Everything works, but about an hour in, the process is "Killed." And it stops logging probe requests. My goal is to run this for several days, non-stop. Is the adapter going into a power management induced sleep? And how would I achieve fixing that so I can collect my data? https://github.com/xdavidhu/probeSniffer Cheers
  5. Hello everyone, I just bought the pineapple Nano and connected it to my PC. Now I got my own android here and I only see it sending probe request only once every 2 minutes. Is there a way/setting in the pineapple to let my phone send more probe requests? Thanks in advance!
  6. 7. Hi All, I'm working on a project in witch i'm using some old Linksys WRT54GL routers that i've flashed with OpenWRT (Backfire 10.03.1). Now i'm running into some problems with the storage on the device, the device has around 1mb of flash storage that i can use. The thing i want to do is configure the router to send probe request information with UDP to my computer where i'm running a app to visualize this data, i already have an prototype working on the Pineapple. On the pineapple i'm simply watching for changes in the KarmaLog with the following script: KARMALOG="/var/karma-phy0.log" IP
