  1. So I had a bad run in the last few months with phones. When Asurion tells me my deductible is $190.00 to repair my screen I flipped out. SO I go dig up my old treos and find out I cant use them. Now i'm really flipping out, Yes I can afford a new phone I have chosen to run on Pixel for now, I refuse to eat from the evil apple. I have already ordered my new screen to instal myself. However I am now obsessively trying to find a use for my old treo's. I found a old article posted from here, I do not need a universal remote.   2. I use the OOKLA Speed Test, but I just found another app for my Kindle Fire that looks to be helpful, pre-deployment. It also shows you what Karma and to some extent (I think) PineAP are doing. It's called WiFi Overview 360 Pro. Cost me 3 bucks USD from Amazon. First, it can give you info on which channels are more open, prior to deployment.
  3. I got a pre-paid cell and stopped service on my iPhone b/c too many people had my number from when I was younger. So I greatly reduced the number of incoming calls and it's been great. However, someone just called me from this number: 503-235-1259 which I tracked down to an Immigrant community group in Portland, OR, though that information could be outdated. I am neither from Portland, OR nor an Immigrant (at least not to the US). So I called the # back and it says it's DISCONNECTED!! WTH? Is it some hacker/spy/agent/big-brother/rival/phreak-from-my-linux-club phucking with me or? I increa
