LILYGO® TTGO T-SIM7000G ESP32 Wireless Communication Module https://www.banggood.com/LILYGO-TTGO-T-SIM7000G-ESP32-Wireless-Communication-Module-Small-Card-Development-Board-p-1652592.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN#jsReviewsWrap http://www.lilygo.cn/ Hi all, i have been looking at this device to combine a small rig that i can leave at a location for wifi/ble recon or for other purposes. What i really like with this module is the combination of options such as saving the .pcap file to a SD card, the availability to connect to the device from the cellular network and of-course the esp32 with wifi and ble capabilities. I have not yet bought any modules and i am looking for advice. Though it would be interesting to hear if anyone tried giving the module a test-run? Sum, Is the module worth it? Edit: The SIM7000G is just a 2G compatible chip though - so scratching the "lte".
  2. On the older Tetra i could use my Sierra Aircard modem out of the box. When I made a SSH connection to the Pineapple Tetra and ran ifconfig -a then i could see it as wwan0 I only had to vi /etc/config/network option ifname 'wwan0' # add this line under wwan and vi /etc/config/dhcp option ignore 0 # set this under under wan Then it worked. But here on the Pineapple VII i cant see the card What opkg update && opkg install xxx do i need ? I cant find kmod-usb-net-sierrawireless kmod-usb-serial-wwan kmod-usb-serial-sierrawireless kmod-usb-serial-qualcomm or anything that would make the card work ( like opkg list|grep -i sierra ) Any hints ?
  3. This is "Modem Manager", a module created to allow connection to the internet via 3G and 4G USB modems. How to use this module: This module currently only works for modems with Serial Interfaces and Abstract Control Modems (ACM). You can read about modems with serial interfaces here. Support for modems with NCM and QMI may be added at a later date. It's hard for me to implement this support without these types of modems, so if you have a QMI modem please feel free to test some configurations and share your experience. You may also need to reboot your pineapple after setting up your modem in the module. This is to allow the 'usbserial' kernel module to be loaded with the correct VID:PID of your modem. Version 1.1 is out.
  4. Objective: to take live dump of LTE traffic using grgsm with USRP N200 I am using grgsm_livemon with USRP N200. However the window of scan is no greater than ~2.4MHz whereas USRP provide more than 20MHz bandwidth which is enough to scan LTE frequencies. How can I increase the window size so that i can use grgsm with N200? or if it is even possible to use grgsm for LTE Frequencies? Also i want suggestion of any other easy to configure tool which can help me acheive the above task? Many thanks and regards
  5. Hi Does anyone know if the Sierra Wireless 320U USB dongle works with the Pineapple? This is the standard LTE module for the carrier Telstra in Australia. Cheers http://www.netgear.com.au/home/products/mobile-broadband/usb-modems/aircard_320U.aspx#
  6. Hi, I'm looking to purchase a 4G LTE USB Modem to use with my pineapple mk4 (firmware 3.0.0), has anyone gotten one to work sucessfully, i searched some posts and it seems the user needs to install a few packges and such, I'm looking for one where i can just plug and play with minimal fuss. Checked this page but doesn't give me a list of Certified USB Modems that work https://github.com/WiFiPineapple/web-interface/wiki/mk4guide3gmodem Looked at the following models: AT&T Beam Sprint Netgear 341U USB Modem Verizon 4G LTE USB Modem UML295 Verizon 4G LTE USB Modem 551L Pantech® 4G LTE Global USB Modem UML290 Does anyone have any recommendations and suggestions for a working solution? Thank you for your help.
