Hi all. Wasn't sure if this belonged here or in the "Questions" forum since it's not necessarily a MarkV-specific observation. Very pleased to see that Harverster passively collecting SSIDs is now working properly! After I let Harvester do it's thing for five or ten minutes, I'm seeing a number of entries like this: ("Socket Public" is obviously not part of what's confusing me) I would say a solid half of the SSIDs in my PineAP management list are random characters like this. I found this thread from back in 2009, but that's the closest thing I've found to what I'm experiencing. Same concept? Wildly off? "garbled SSID", "random SSID" and "gibberish SSID" are turning up very little on Google..
Hi guys, im having troubles with the credential harvester. Im testing it with facebook on my local network, and firefox/Iceweasel doesn't detect anything, but chrome detects it after 5'. I've read that this is a built in function, not a blacklisted url. Does anybody know how to bypass this phishing alert? I've tried obfuscating the html code and that didin't work out. Thanks!
Earlier today I was running PineAP, but after not long I was broadcasting over 200 SSIDs. There was such a flood of them that it was making other tasking difficult on other laptops. Reading here, https://www.wifipineapple.com/?portal&bugs&action=view&id=293, and from what I was trying it appears that karma must be on to use harvester. Is there another way to harvest passively as the help popup states it will? Also, I have not been able to find a way to view the list of connected clients. Top right corner it shows you the number of connected clients, but I have not been able to find a client list.
