  1. Hello, I am looking for 2 Meraki MR16 AP's without any license(s) required, if anyone has a couple to spare would help a bunch, need them for home / office use. Feel free to get back to me if you happen to have 2 to spare.. Thanks
  2. Hey hak5 forums! I lurk more then post but since this is a community of like minded people i figured i would post this campaign i found on Indiegogo. The campaigns idea is that 4.3 billion people do not have access to the internet, so how do we fix that? Satellite communication, this form of internet is call "The Outernet" Its already up and running and by July of 2015 it will cover the entire world. They are running a campaign also to sell a small a "Tower" that communicates on several Frequencys for later use and to be future proof. Take a look at this project and let me know what you think!
  3. I made a game as a summer project and released it for free. I thought it would look good on my CV if I had a project on there. I'm currently 20 and studying computer security at university so didn't have much time to spend on it. It's called Carnage and is available for Android via the Play Store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.molemangames.carnage My phone got stolen a few nights ago so I won't be working on it for a while (too poor to afford a new one). I was getting ready to release multiplayer + a new gamemode so i'm pretty bummed at the moment. Anyway, let me kno
  4. I do not jailbreak my iPad, so is there any free and interesting game for me to play on my iPad?
  5. Hi !! I have a question ! Now that SimCity is playable offline, isn't it possible to hack it ? Especially for Mac ;) Thx
  6. I thought that everyone might be interested in a new, free, and lightweight Pandora timeshifting program called iRadio Capture. It is super simple to set up and works great. It grabs the song files as they play, tags the songs with all of their information, embeds the album art into the song file, and adds it straight to iTunes, all without any user interaction. The developer is good about keeping it up to date and implementing new features as per suggestions. Check it out here: https://sites.google.com/site/aprogrammerscrucible/projects/iradio-capture
  7. I've read most of the forum posts about the various ways to setup and configure a Captive Portal on the Mark IV... I'm purchasing an Elite WiFi Pineapple Mark IV Kit in a few weeks and I'd like to setup some sort of system, so when people join my Pineapple they're greeted by a nice Local Web Page explaining some details about the free hotspot project going on around the state blah blah blah. It's not for phishing or hiding scripts etc... but more for giving the information that I want to get out there. I would like for users to have the option of completely ignoring the page if they want, or
  8. Could some of you IT wizards help me understand something about DHCP and NAT? I haven't studied these in the classroom, but I've done my share of reading and have certainly renewed DHCP and toggled NAT a few thousand times in the course of troubleshooting over the years. I was also just reviewing again the episode of hak5 where Darren + the cutie set up PPTP in BT5 and he shows how to disable DHCP for stealthiness. My limited understanding is basically that NAT allows my army of home computers to share a single external IP address by use of internal/local IP addresses and DHCP helps devices
