    Hashcat problems

Every time I run hashcat on my pc (using linux fedora) I get the same error: Not a native Intel OpenCV runtime. Expect massive speed loss. You can use - - force to override, but do not related errors. If I use - -force , actually works, but it is slower. How can I use it without using - - force ? What does it means not a native intel opencv runtime?
  2. I have a problem with pyrit detecting my nvidia gpu on my kali linux machine. I have the latest kali linux (as of 28/08/2019) and i successfuly installed nvidia drivers without any errors. This is the guide i used: https://hackersterminal.com/how-to-install-nvidia-driver-on-kali-linux/ and it work - no errors at all. Now when i want to use my gpu in pyrit it is not detected at all. I even changed the config file for pyrit to allow cuda when i enter in a terminal: python -c 'from cpyrit import _cpyrit_cuda' i get the following error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 1, in <module> ImportError: cannot import name _cpyrit_cuda please help, i have no idea how to fix this and after days on searching the internet i was unable to find anything
  3. I had successfully managed to connect to my router via ethernet cable and access the portal. I could even download modules and see the bulletin, and clients could connect and browse the internet. Then I had to move my gear and set it back up. When I did so, I had to put my WiFi to share with the ethernet for the router as I did not need to share the connection anymore previously. Now with sharing on, I cannot connect via the IP. there is also no choice to join via management WPA2 as the router was reset, however the default open AP shows. The router successfully boots up every time it is unplugged. Blue and orange lights show with both occasionally flickering. Access via SSH is not possible as I cannot reach its option through the interface. The router is connected as followed: 1. An ethernet CAT5E cable - Laptop > Router. 2. USB 3.0 HUB is connected to the Laptop. 3. The Y end of the USB Y cable has both of its USB heads inserted into the USB 3.0 HUB connected to the laptop. 4. Micro USB end of the Y cable is connected to ETH1 micro USB port on the back of the Router. 5. The US wall plug is connected to the wall via extension lead and adapter for the UK. 6. The other end of the power cable is plugged into the back of the router and turned on. 7. All drivers on the laptop are up to date. All 4 antennae are connected.

  6. I recently got my Nano and ran the set up just like in the setup instructions for Linux but unfortunately, I am met with an issue where it will connect long enough for the bulletins to connect but then it will display the connection error "Error Connecting to WifiPineapple.com". I am running Ubuntu Advark
  7. Basically i've read all the forums and come up with no solution and no progress what soever i just keep getting the error Error connecting to WiFiPineapple.com. Please check your connection. I have firmware version 2.0.2 and i'm sure i'm missing something quite obvious but i just cant find it anywhere. I'm running windows ten if that helps images attached. BTW it wont let me change the interface from br lan if that helps. P.s. i did rename the wifi pineapple to Wifi Pineapple
  8. Hi there! I just updated the firmware of my tetra to 2.0.2 and the bug that i've found is still present in here: I realized first in 1.1.2 that "aircrack-ng -J output something.cap" is not working correct. Yes it generates the file, but hashcat can't read the key. This has to be a bug, because when I transfer the .cap file and run that command on two differend pcs, the generated .hccap file can be read successfully in hashcat. Aircrack-ng framework version is always 1.2 rc4. Greetings :)
  9. I am trying to set up my Pineapple on Kali Linux by running the wp6.sh v6.5 script and after a long time trying I finally figured that the default gateway should be set to 192.168.0.1 and I no longer got error messages when I hit C to connect. But imagine my surprise when I when to my Pineapple and I got the "Error connecting to WiFiPineapple.com. Please check your connection."
  10. Hi, I am trying to get internet sharing on my NANO with debian linux distribution. I have had it working before on other distro's but when I run the config script wp6.sh I can run through the guided setup no problem detecting my wireless internet connection and the pineapple, but when i try to connect it says Detecting WiFi Pineapple...execvp: No such file or directory .execvp: No such file or directory .execvp: No such file or directory .execvp: No such file or directory .execvp: No such file or directory then just repeats on like above until i quit. Any ideas?
  11. Upon initial setup for Nano I am met with "The selected upgrade file failed verification. Please check the file and try again.". This error persists regardless of the version of firmware I attempt to update to. I have tried 2 different laptops, having the Nano directly plugged into the USB port and with the USB Y connector, and both Chrome and Firefox. Any ideas?
  12. I have been troubleshooting issues with the bashbunny for as long as it has been available. I got mine as soon as it was released; and it has been nothing but problematic from day one; which is a shame. The device, in theory, is probably the best thing Hak5 has ever come out with; but it practice, it has been the least usable in my experience. Many payloads will not run consistently; if they run properly at all. Every payload that makes use of the USB partition (the one thing that should really allow us to accomplish truly amazing feats) is problematic for many of its customers. The bashbunny forum is littered with threads full of people who cannot get any credential payloads to work because USB writing fails; among other problems. Simple ducky payloads that execute fine on the ducky or on nethunter's duckhunter will not inject properly a fair percentage of the time on the bashbunny. I see mixed character case issues where they shouldn't be and other anomalies. I am really hoping the USB corruption issues and the bizarre injection problems I am having is due solely to the fact that I adopted so early and the rest of the devices are not plagued with these issues; as they make the device unusable. I am pleading with Hak5 support here to please provide me with a replacement. I and my friends have poured countless hours of time and ulcers into trying to get this device to work; with, very little and, no lasting success. Anything we get to to work once or twice is quickly broken by yet another USB corruption issue or other strange injection anomaly. Please help me. I have gone through every unbricking, reflashing, updating, and udisk reformatting operation that support has given and have tried every firmware available. Nothing seems to be able to salvage this bunny. Help me technolust-ken-obee. You're my only hope...
  13. Hello just received my Packet Squirrel and was trying to use putty to set it up, but unfortunately I could not find a com port assigned from my device or task manager. Running windows 7 and thought it to be minor error, anyone know of another way to obtain the port number?
  14. Hi All, Newbie here 1st time using Wifi Pineapple and Kali linux. So I've been able to successfully follow the setup video and configure my Wifi Pineapple. However, when I tried to Recon, I am getting an error of "There was an error starting up Recon. Please try again." I was only able to Recon once after the initial setup and havent been able to Recon again since then. Not sure what happened. I did enable PineAP's Daemon before noticing Recon doesn't work. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks
  15. I have just reset my bashbunny and since then, my explorer shows me this! what's up?
  16. Hello everyone! I was having some trouble running the QuickCreds payload with my Bash Bunny. I have tested other payloads that work (such as the nmapper and a basic ducky hello world that I wrote). I have installed the tools into the /pentest folder properly. It seems to get stuck in an infinite loop where it's blinking amber (I believe). When I unplug it, switch to arming mode, and open up the files I see a loot folder that wasn't there before. It then goes to quickcreds --> name_of_computer but there's nothing inside that folder. I've let it go for as high as about thirty minutes before giving up on it. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've tested it on a MacBook Pro, a linux laptop, and a Windows 7 64 bit Virtual Machine, all with the same problem. I saw other people post about it with the same issue as me but I didn't see a response that worked. Thanks in advance for your help!
  17. Hello! I own a Pineapple Nano, and have it setup. Let me run down the list. I am using an Alfa USB to connect to a WiFi connection to forward all traffic to the internet. I have my Management AP, and Public AP (Rogue AP) setup. I am able to connect with a device and my traffic is forwarded. I have the microSD card plugged into the NANO. It has been formatted to EXT4. I rebooted the device, and according to the GUI it is mounted and ready. I load the modules page. Then I click "Get Modules" and the list populates. I then proceed to "Install" any of the modules, let's go with "nmap". It finished the install and succeeds. Then I view the bottom of the page for "Install Modules" and nothing. I then refresh the page and it will not load, I get the forever loading pineapple. And this is where I am at. I am unable to access any other modules. I have reformatted the SD card through the GUI, and through terminal by SSH. And restarted the NANO multiple times. Does anyone have any thoughts on what roadblock I am facing? Is it maybe that the SD card is too large? The SD card is a 32 GB Class 10 card. I am willing to provide additional information, just let me know what you require. I have tried to look around the web and see if anyone else faced the same issue. I couldn't seem to find it, either its buried somewhere in the great wide web, or no one else has had this issue. Thanks, Janosik

  19. Hello Hak5 Community - I've been having a tough time with my new LAN turtle. I'll try to keep this as succinct as possible.. 1. My LAN turtle is accessible via SSH from the local host at 172.16.84.X 2. With ethernet cable plugged in, eth1 gets an IP address in my home subnet range of 10.0.0.x, and an amber link light. 3. From the shell on the turtle, I can ping the gateway (10.0.0.1), I can ping other machines on that subnet. I have internet DNS resolution. I can even do things like wget http://example.com and that works too... But whenever I try to get updates via the "GUI" on the turtle, it tells me my turtle is currently offline! Its infuriating! I have flashed the turtle manually using the latest code available from https://downloads.lanturtle.com/ using instructions provided by Darren Kitchen. Any ideas guys? Thanks for all your help. Hak5 rocks!
  20. All the clients that are connected to the nano have extremely slow internet o not internet at all. How do i fix that?
  21. http://172.16.42.1:1471/api/?download=3db4931437afebd33491c86300fe728637eb617f17254422387408ae1645cf72 Invalid file. There is no way to generate a debug file because that error!!!!!
  22. I can access to 172.16.42.1:1471 when i connect to the nano using the nano's accesspoint and i get internet though it (sometimes) Sometimes....I can connect to the admin page , as long as i'm on the same wifi network ( nano and pc sharing the same wifi router) but only sometimes, the first minute after turning on the nano, after that, there is no way to access to the admin page if i'm not connected to nano's accesspoint. My questions Where do I set to have internet (logged as root) using the nano access point? But not affected by sslsplit or any other module Where do I set to be able to connect to nano when we share the same wifi router? Without using the nano's access point?
