I purchased one of those portable routers by Netgear off of eBay. The TP-WR703N now has openwrt on it. I've never used openwrt other than my experience with the nano and it's a little overwhelming. What are some of my options utilizing the portable router to benefit the pineapple? Such as create a repeating access points to extend the PineAP? Or creating a compromised/controlled wlan by connecting an ethernet to the usb via a rj45 adapter to the pineapple? My mind's eye creates several possibilities but when I try to focus in on an idea everything gets fuzzy..
Hi Guys, One of the many things I've learned from the hak5 community is that Fon's are pretty awesome, as is dd-wrt. It's time for me to get a new router because my ancient refurbished TimeCapsule doesn't do a router level VPN and I'm retiring my last Macbook which means I won't have a computer that's compatible with the Airport Utility (it doesn't play well with Linux and I reject Windows). Btw if anyone really wants my TimeCapsule and has something to trade then you can PM me. I'm not as savvy with this type of stuff as a lot of you guys are tho, so I wanted to check that I won't be disapp
I am using BT5 R3 on a laptop. My router is a wrt54g with dd-wrt v24. Is there anyway I can link wlan0 or mon0 directly to the router either wired or hopefully wirelessly. So when I run airodump-ng mon0 it will be using the routers antenna? I have been looking into airtun-ng but no luck so far.
