  1. Hello there, I'm experiencing constant Wifi Pineapple Crashes while running Deauth attacks against both 2,4 and 5GHz networks, even with having power adapter plugged in. Since I really need Pineapple right now during wireless networks audit - I'm asking for some help what to do about that bug, get it around. Also, during use of Beacon Response of PineAP I'm experiencing crashes. Device simply reboots itself. Is there any mean of troubleshooting that?
  2. Hi everyone! I'm new to the pineapple, about one week new; and I've been having a lot of fun so far. Ive been going mad this evening however. I've be learning to use PineAP and once I start it up the Pineapple crashes within about 15 minutes max. I did some googleing and I haven't found anyone else with this issue. Additionally I've tried resetting to factory settings, but the issue persists. Really hoping someone can offer some advise.
  3. I am trying to setup wifi pineapple nano but when I get to the part with load bulletin it crashes my PC and gives me the error in this picture. Also when I try to do "firmware upgrade" to also check if it's working I get this error: "Error connecting to WiFiPineapple.com. Please check your connection." Any Help?

  5. I just received my Pineapple and have a few issues with it. As I am a pineapple noob, I will outline my issues in the order they occurred. The first thing I noticed after setting up the nano (with the USB-A cable over my PC) was that my phone would connect to the management AP but I could not access the nano's control panel over wifi, (can only get to the panel through a USB micro cable and the pineapple connector app). On my PC (using the USB-A cable) after the first hour or so of playing around with recon and logging the nano would lock up, then prompt me to login again, after doing so all the logs and scans, as well as the pineAP settings would reset. Connecting wirelessly to the management AP from my PC I am able to access the control panel as normal, however after about a half hour the page would lock up, my wifi would disconnect from the nano's management AP, and when I tried to reconnect both the management and open (hidden) AP would disappear from radar, prompting a hard reset. I have done a few factory resets already and these issues persist. I'm not sure if this is normal, but the factory reset left the firmware version at 1.1.1 Thank You,
  6. Basically if you append /%%30%30 to the end of any url you manually enter it will crash chrome (desktop) and a mouse over of a link containing it can crash chrome, or just the page you were on with the link. On mobile Chrome only mouse over works at least from testing it on my tablet and phone.
  7. My pineapple crashes and reboots a lot. I'd like to figure out why. Common sense tells me to begin by sifting through something like a system log that might detail the events that led to each crash. The trouble is, when I look at the log available through the web interface after a crash, the first entry only begins 0:38 seconds after the reboot. No events are listed prior to it: Jan 1 01:00:38 Pineapple kern.info kernel: [ 30.720000] cfg80211: (start_freq - end_freq @ bandwidth), (max_antenna_gain, max_eirp) This makes it difficult to determine what precipitated the uncommanded reboot. How and where do I find log files that would detail events that are occurring prior to the uncommanded reboots? If the answer involves the Log Check infusion or the "custom tail" option, perhaps someone could steer me toward resources that might help in understanding how to use it? I really don't know where to begin.
  8. Hey guys! I am having a problem with running ssl strip. I am currently running the 3.0 firmware for the mark IV. I installed ssl strip into an external usb storage and I am able to run it,but it does not show any output. I have the infusion too, same thing. SOMETIMES it outputs information,I guess when it decides to run. It's not from the infusion I am sure,SSH-ing in and running ssl strip doesn't give any results either. Just a few hours ago it ran just fine for 5 minutes,I went to 3 different websites, logged in etc (one of them is facebook) and it was alright. And suddenly,it just stopped working. The infusion reported that it's not working and that's that. I am not running anything else except for karma. Any help would be appriciated because I am out of ideas. Cheers! :)
  9. Hello I recently got the mk4 but i am having problems with it freezing and/or crashing randomly and very often. Im running 2.7.0, poe to ethernet and power via usb port on laptop (i have tried with the pineapple juice aswell) What happens is im setting it up as per tutorial/how-to so its default setup, run the wp4.sh and i have access to the gui, everything works as it should but it seems like when i use sslstrip and urlsnarf together that is a sure freeze issue for the mk4. It does not answer ping nor ssh and needs a complete reboot and a wp4.sh run againg. This also happens (although maybe every other day or so) just running the sslstrip - both modules are the newest, installed on usb with swap and downloaded from the pineapplebar. Ive looked around and see some issues that looks related but nothing seems to fix this for me. Any ideas ? Thanx :)
  10. Hello - first post, and my first bite of the pineapple. I requested and received one for the holidays, and have spent the last few days playing with it. I'm attempting to perform a simple deauth/hijack of a client on my local network, and my use of the Alfa adapter isn't working out the way I had hoped. Some details: - Connecting the USB adapter does not show an interface available - lsusb reflects that a device was connected - iwconfig or ifconfig can be used to bring the device up, light the LED, and perform further commands after which the device is 'usable' - Once the device is available, the channel is modified to match that of the ap being spoofed - The actual aireplay-ng command results in the following: root@Pineapple:/tmp# aireplay-ng -0 5 -e MYESSID -c xx:xx:xx:a8:b8:2c wlan1 22:05:21 Waiting for beacon frame (ESSID: MYESSID) on channel 11 Found BSSID "xx:xx:xx:64:80:66" to given ESSID "MYESSID". write failed: Network is down wi_write(): Network is down directed DeAuth. STMAC: [XX:XX:XX:A8:B8:2C] [ 0| 0 ACKs] - Once this occurs, the device appears to have been removed completely. - An lsusb shows only the hub, not the adapter - The following is displayed in the system log: 22:06:44 Pineapple kern.err kernel: [ 2468.490000] usb 1-1: device not accepting address 28, error -145 22:06:44 Pineapple kern.err kernel: [ 2468.490000] hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 1 ERRNO ~145 is a connection timeout. I expect that I'm doing something wrong, as these devices are used together quite often, but I'm unable to figure out exactly what that is. If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd very much appreciate it. Thanks!
