  1. hello all, I have been trying for awhile and have read through quite a few forums trying to prevent my aireplay-ng --deauth command from channel hopping. I have set the channel in a few different ways that i have seen in other forums and this seemed to be the most popular: sudo ifconfig wlan* down sudo iwconfig wlan* mode monitor channel * sudo ifconfig wlan* up but also didnt work for me. Is there another way to prevent this? I am using ALFA AWUS036ACH AC1100 2.4/5ghz wifi adapter and setting it to 5ghz. I have another ALFA that is 2.4ghz only and these commands work perfectly fine. This dual band adapter seems to be having issues with deuathenticating and also capturing handshake even on 2.4ghz channel.

  3. Hey. I'm having some trouble kicking clients off a certain access point. Everything seems to be working fine, until i launch the aireplay-ng deauth attack, I have double checked the MAC addresses, of both the AP and client. I tried changing the channel manually when I set up airmon-ng wlan0 'channel' to match the AP but it doesn't seem to help. Commands i use: Sudo ifconfig wlan0 down sudo airmon-ng start wlan0 sudo airodump-ng mon0 sudo aireplay -0 0 -a 'MAC of access point' -c 'MAC of client' mon0 It replies: "Waiting for beacon frame (BSSID: "...") on channel 9 "No such BSSID available" I have tried putting in the ESSID insted with -e "ESSID of access point", but it returns the same. There's a link for screenshots here: https://imgur.com/a/Q7c8t Any suggestions ?
  4. How do I set my my wireless card or access point to ignore deauthentication requests completely? There's a kid down the street running a wifi jammer. I've been monitoring this activity for some time. Altogether I find this activity amusing but also annoying. I'm not reallly concerned with activity. Kids will be kids. But I would like to figure out how to just ignore deauthentication attacks. Any help would be awesome. B)
  5. Hey, first post here and I hope I am on the right thread. I am trying to send a single deauth frame. Normally I can send those with aireplay-ng but the -0 1 option actually sends a bach of 128 not 1. This might not be the best idea if the admin is running an IDS for example. I've been trying to find alternative tools for the job with not much luck. Does anyone know if there is a tool or a way with the aircrack-ng suite to do that? Thanks people.
