  1. Hello all, I am a noob when it comes to the ubertooth, and bluetooth in general, and I was just wondering if anyone out there has any recommendations or tips. I have it currently set up with wireshark on a raspbery pi 3 b+ with raspbian. spectrum analyzer works great and I am getting packets coming through in wireshark. The problem is that I really don't know what I am looking at or what data would even be interesting to see. I am currently build a lab for students to sniff bluetooth with the ubertooth using wireshark, as well as a lab for bluetooth tracking such as I saw on a youtube video ab
  2. I have forgot my login info for my WiFi Pineapple Nano and was hoping to factory reset and just start fresh. The only problem is, i have no idea how to do this. Hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!!
  3. Hey guys, I recently received my HackRF One after having experimented with an RTL-SDR USB Dongle in the SDR# software. I first set up Pentoo Linux and tried out GNU Radio Companion as suggested by Mike Ossmann himself. However I was a little discouraged when I found out that some things had changed in GNU Radio Companion since the making of his tutorials and "blocks" that he made use of are missing in the newer versions of GNU Radio Companion. Today I tried to use the HackRF with the SDR# software. I had been using it very easily with my RTL-SDR previously, and I used "Zadig" to install t
  4. Hi guys, I just found out about this community and it looks really cool. I was wondering what the active users in this community thinks a good age to start learning to hack is. I also wanted to know where to start. I don't feel like spending money on something I'm not sure will stick with me in the future. Thanks
  5. Hey guys, I am new to the whole forum thing. I am curious on how to use the VPN payload with my packet-squirrel. I bought NordVPN a while ago, they offer the following files to connect ".crt with .key" and ".opvn". Though I am clueless on how to use these files, I tried copying the ".opvn" to the configuration file. I am sure I am doing this wrong, but I want to learn. I know how to use these files on Linux but not so much with the Packet-squirrel, what should I do? Edit: I have read the documentation, before that comes up thanks.
  6. I'm creating this thread for myself and others that are newish to the Pineapple, Openwrt, CLI and linux. Please apply salt as this will probably be an ongoing thread. I tend to jump the gun with garishly heavy hands, often accompanied with moith feet. I come from a background of outsourcing, photography and color correction. None of which speak Linux or networking and nary a command line. (I did create a batch file once that deletes massive Lightroom catalogs in minutes; doesn't count though). I learn quickly but it's been slightly more than hairy. here are some of the Linux tools t
  7. Hello and thanks for your help :) I'm running Kali 2016 rolling and I have some problems setting up the Pineapple Tetra. So.. Just bought the Tetra, connected it, checked the 172.xxx address, and pinged it from terminal ---> OK The Problem : 1) Normal LAN Connection activated on wlan0 and then I active eth1 (pineapple) : My connection to my LAN is on wlan0. I can ping the pineapple fine but ... : - 1) When I click on the network Icon on the upper bar, it says "USB ETHERNET CONNECTING".. But I already have an IP for the Pineapple and can Ping it !
  8. OK, I have not scripted anything in a number of years, and those scripts were either a batch file for powershell v1 and v2. I thought it would be fun to write a script that I could set to run at start up and use with a Raspberry Pi and the proper WiFi dongle to automatically capture open WiFi traffic based on the most active network. I would greatly appreciate the community taking a look at what I have and help me clean up and refine the code. <this is of course purely for educational purposes> I thinks this could also be converted to a useful pineapple module
  9. I'm currently trying to gain access to a practice server, according to Nessus it has 1x Critical vuln and 2x Medium vulns, they are: Critical: CVE-2004-1154 Samba smbd Security Descriptor Parsing Remote Overflow. Medium: CVE-2016-2118 Samba Badlock Vulnerability. Medium: SMB Signing Disabled. I've searched Google, ExploitDB and msf for exploits for the Critical vuln but I keep coming up blank. Nessus explains that crafting packets with hundreds of thousands of ACLs would cause a remote buffer overrun, but how do I take advantage of that? Or, am I focussing too much on the
  10. so i got my usb rubberducky in the mail, and upon watching the instructionals on youtube i have to say im at a complete loss of wtf to do. im new to all this. ive tried downloading the duckencoder but the .jar file cant be opened. i also downloaded DuckyScript UDL, Duck Firmware.hex, and notepad ++. still im stumped. please help!
  11. Im sorry for the noob question in advance. Im looking for a secure FREE VPN solution, by secure i mean i don't want anyone monitoring my traffic or intercepting it. The few i have tried were complete crap, they were VERY slow and injected ads at a very ridiculous rate. I understand by nature a VPN is going to be a lot more sluggish than not using a VPN, i just feel like there is a better solution than the ones i have tried. ANY help or recommendations would be Greatly appreciated. If you have a VPN that is worth paying for, feel free to mention it. Thanks in advance guys. Much Love -Loki
  12. hi all nothing works on this device for some reason and I REALLY have followed the videos both here and on youtube. SO I am assuming that the box itself is ok and it's something "I" am doing. What happens is that I flash with the latest OS try follow TO THE LETTER a video telling me how to get a MITM attack working and things go very wrong. Interfaces stop for no reason that I can see and I never seem to get anything that looks like a data file. SO is there a script, manual, video that others have used to get started with the Pineapple V and Kali? I have tried many time
  13. Hi there, Im new with pineapple, i receive mine 3 days ago. I follow the instructions to first run and update without any problem. I install sslstrip 2.1 from pine bar (It is the main function , which led me to buy the pine) with no problem, connect my pine to my home wifi through client mode, and connect another computer to the access point created by pineapple. This ap work fine, with internet connection. When i start sslstrip, i think it starts as it should be, it appears the info about the log file as been created (or something like this), but when i go to the computer connected to the
  14. I'm tired of repeatedly clicking the mouse to refresh an application at work. For legit use at work where I can't install a software macro or any other program but can plug in a rubber ducky, is it possible to use a rubber ducky to repeatedly click a right mouse key once every 5 seconds or so to refresh an application while it waits for an application event, and to quickly stop the simulated mouse clicks manually when I see the application screen change? Can I use the macro language for the rubber ducky or rubber ducky deluxe to do this?
  15. Hi, Looking for some help, total noob here. I've searched the forum and can't find any answers or similar problems to mine (i'm sure it's a simple noob error). Basically I've tried two different payloads, a simple "hello world" and a wall paper change. Both have the same issue which ends up with the desktop icons being re-named to the actual code that is in the text file / payload, whilst the payload is executing. As far as i'm aware the inject file is compiled correctly, and placed at the root of the ducky micro SD. I've also watched and followed the: Ducky quack start guideWith no luck
  16. Okay... I have been following Hak5 and its community/forums for a couple months now I really want to get into wifi hacking and using hardware like the turtle shell and using ssh and what not, but I feel like all the tutorials are a little to advance for me to do. Is there anywhere else I can go to start from not having any prior knowledge ? ( No script kitty stuff )
  17. So I'm a huge noob when it comes to most IT stuff and I need some help with starter laptop suggestions and OS'es to learn and use. I want to learn stuff but everyone ive asked is all over the board from an apple airbook to cheapy Acer or chrome book. I've got an older refurbished imac desktop but its not mobile (well it is, I just look like a douche carrying it to coffee shops or meetup groups). Honestly I don't know too many IT people IRL, I have an art/design background. I don't even really know what I want to learn. I just know that I want to learn. Please advise me on where to start with l
  18. hello, anyone can help me to create a script to download a picture and put it to wallpaper. thank you
  19. I am not a Linux guy or a network guy. Trying to learn, and clearly missing something. My process so far: Boot MK4 Plug into ethernet of laptop Can see Pineapple control center Clients can connect to MK4 wifi Clients cannot see the internet When the wired connection is enabled, the laptop cannot see the interent If the wired connection is disabled, the laptop can see the internet I have tried to run the script with the wired connection enabled and disabled, as I read elsewhere. I am running the script with sudo From what I understand, clients who connect to the MK4 wireless should b
  20. Hello all, Just got my Mark IV, and probably I'm doing something wrong, but whatever it is I can't get this thing to work. I'm working on Windows 8, via webinterface. I tried to follow the instructiosn of the booklet, but for starters I don't have the "Status" window at all. If Im looking into the "Karma" section, and checking the "Karma Log" I only see few SSIDs in the area, but I know for the fact that I have a dozen around me. Can't get into my own WiFi... I've reviewd all available documentation, and related links, but something is defiantly missing. Please point me to the right dirre
  21. So im new to the pineapple. I have little networking experience but im very intuitive and a fast learner. I was just wondering where i would start? What are some basic task to get familiar with this amazing product? What should i read up on and where should i look, the web seems a little dry on info for the pineapple. Im interested in pen testing my own networks, understanding how an attack works (Phishing, Spoofing), so that i may better protect myself and my networks. Thanks for all the help in advance guys.
  22. Hey everyone. First post here, so go easy on me. So there's a DVR system on a network. And they've got around 4 cameras up and running. I know the private LAN IP address of the DVR, but to be able to remotely monitor/audit the DVR's components, I need to be able to grasp the public IP of the DVR. Now my questions: 1.) Can anyone experienced, tell me how to access the DVR component's options such as video files stored, camera control OVER THE PUBLIC IP? 2.) HOW do I even grab the public IP of the dvr in the first place? Thanks. Peace. \/
  23. Hey all, as the topic pretty much lays out, my question is whether the /root/.ssh of the pineapple mark IV supposed to be empty? theres no known_host, or anything else. i just re-flashed and still nothing. Im also having some problems with karma and the USB so im trying to figure out if theres like some files missing, or more likely my noobness is preventing me from getting all setup. Anyone whose willing to talk me through some of this stuff will receive no money, but when you die, on your deathbed you will receive total consciousness..... which would be nice. So ya, if you know about the h
  24. Well, I haven't browsed enough to know if there is an introduction forum, but I'll go ahead and say hello here in my first post. My name is John, but I go by d1sc1ple01, obviously. I am a pretty big CS fan, and I'm getting into a decent amount of programming. I had a course on python, then c++, and now I'm teaching myself php and html5 on the side. However, like most people, hacking has always been super intriguing to me. My buddy showed me how to crack some windows passwords with bt5r3 and then we both learned how to crack wep and wpa2 wifi together. Since then, i've wanted to do more but h
