  1. Lately I have been having problems with my wifi pineapple, and I have gotten some help. My problem is that no matter which device I use, I can not connect to my wifi pineapple's ap. If someone is having a similar problem, please post below, and if someone knows how to fix this, it will be a lot of help. Thanks.
  2. I recently received my Wifi Pineapple, and I have a few questions about it. 1. Do I need to use a phone and have it tethered for people to connect to the Pineapple? 2. Do I always need an enthernet cable to access the Web Interface? 3. What is wlan0 and wlan1 and should i have at least one enabled? 4. Do I need any special files/programs to phish besides putty and winscp? Sorry, I am new to this field of technology. I mostly program things with javascript.
  3. When I check for updates in the Pineapple Bar, it shows me there is one for Karma but when I click "Update This Infusion", it doesn't do anything. I have done multiple factory resets. The other updates seem to be working fine. Any suggestions?
  4. Hello, I've set up and installed a the wifi pineapple software on Ubuntu, but when I connect using sudo ./wp5.sh, and go through the menu, I get an error message that looks like this: I'm not sure if there is something I'm doing wrong? I followed the youtube tutorial by Darren to get this far, but when I did the ping test, it looped on until I force the terminal to quit. Let me know if you have any suggestions, and thanks for the help in advance, Daren

    Pineapple Kali Pi

UPDATE: 4/16 I already had a usb rubby ducky and thanks to the Kali-Linux install script of the Rubber Ducky Payload Generator this device now has a new attack vector granted I have access to a client station. Thanks Hak5! UPDATE: I am now running kali linux on raspberry pi I am now going to automate as much as i can To use the setup I use a tablet and vnc into it It takes about 3 minutes to power up everything, ssh into pi, startvnc and login I hooked up the AWUS036NHA to the kali pi and did a real world wifi cracking test (wifite is built into kali) I found a good spot with multiple networks and the signal strength isnt great, It took around 5 min This whole getup is very easy to setup, I will actually be able to use this within 6 months on a clients network. . This is what it all looks like all parts cost around $350 Step 1 buy stuff: Buy raspberry pi, wifipineapple, 2 alfas, usb hub, 8gb usb drive, 16gb sdcard, ethernet cable Step 2 setup pi: http://cdimage.kali.org/kali-images/kali-linux-1.0-armel-raspberrypi.img.gz Dowload and write to sdcard put in pi thats it. Step 3 setup pineapple: http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/forum/65-mark-iv/ Step 4 power them up: Plug the KaliPi into the pineapple poe jack. KaliPi automatically tries to connect on eth0, Step 5 My pi is always assigned the address SSH in to kalipi (pw:toor) install tightvncserver. Step 6 Install raspi-config on Kali pi git clone http://github.com/asb/raspi-config.git cd raspi-config sh raspi-config Step 7: Use what the gods gave you wget wifipineapple.com/wp4.sh chmod+x wp4.sh ./wp4.sh If you have questions... pm me! I am a computer science student and just a nerd that likes to play with things This is my first post. I recently got a raspberry pi and a wifi pineapple mark iv and set them up to work together. I just got a new battery pack (anker astro3 10000mAh) and it runs the two of them, it will run for close to 5 hours as pictured. I also use them with the Alfa AWUS036H (not pictured) and the AWUS036NHA. It took a little time but was not that hard. Raspberry pi instructions, Pwnpi and http://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/forum/49-jasager/ I will update as the project gets better, for now... With the raspberry pi you can make any tv or monitor your display with rca or hdmi. Or ssh and vnc into both devices from you laptop, tablet, or phone I am working on complete automation based off the fact that Karma will bring devices to the network, and the pwnpi will attack most hosts on the pineapple network Making it mobile, I thought about a pizza box but figured a solar backpack was a better bet In this pic i am using the pineapple with the Alfa AWUS036H and AWUS036NHA. I decided to use 2 power supplies: anker astro3 10000mAh to run the pineapple and an anker 8400mAh to run the pi
  6. I was wondering if I could run WiFi Pineapple on my existing router TP-Link TL-WDR4300. It supports openwrt. Any thoughts? I'd love to support hak5 but considering shipping charge, tax and blah blah it's highly uneconomical.
  7. So I just read about this post that popped up on Hack-a-Day recently http://penturalabs.wordpress.com/2013/04/25/blue-for-the-pineapple/ and I posted the following question in the comments section and thought I should also post it here, I also noticed that I wasn't the only one taking notice, props to Darren for noticing and supporting fellow hackers!! I’ve been thinking of an idea for a week or so now that would only be possible if Hak5′s “Rubber Ducky” meets “WiFi Pineapple” and all of a sudden I see this on hack-a-day and I think I might be able to do what I want with this device!! So the idea I have, or what I want to be able to do is connect a usb device (wr703n) to a host computer on a internal company network that has access to the internet and local intranet with the host computer having access to a network printer. Then I would connect my laptop via secured wireless to the device (wr703n) and be able to access the Internet and Intranet from my laptop as if it were the host computer that has all the permissions and privileges to access the internet and especially the local intranet. I’m and independent contractor that deals with industrial automation and controls and I always seem to need to print off a schematic to be able to wright on or take notes on and I always have to leave the plant floor and head back to the company’s office and bug some one to use their computer to look up a schematic and print it off for me. I’ve been using portable putty to establish an ssh socks proxy back to my server so I can get access to some websites that they block and portable winscp to get the files that I need but I still have to use someone computer to do that. So is this idea possible??!!!!! Thanks, TinkerMan

  10. Hey guys! As some of you may know, the old wiki on cloud.wifipineapple.com was old and outdated, and it hadn't been edited in a long time. Thats why myself and sebkinne spent the past few days creating the new wiki!, Some guides have been updated to work with 2.8.0 and the new wiki is much more easier to contribute to and is cleaner in general. We would love it if you (the community) would contribute to the wiki in anyway you can, let it be reporting bad links or creating new guides, tips or any other cool things to do with your pineapple. And here it is. Cheers, -Foxtrot
  11. So ive been playing around with my new wifi pineapple. I'm very interested in learning the in's and outs and hope to reach out to everyone on the forums who have something to share. With that being said I am setting up my phishing files and (Stupid me) wrote my redirect.php verbiage on my error.php file. Not creating a back up I am hoping someone can SCP into their pineapple www folder and copy and paste everything in their error.php in the this topic so I can edit my file. The other option is if someone can send me a copy of their file or at least direct me to where I can get the material myself. Thanks for your help.

  13. im on my second WiFi Pineapple, and this one has the same thing going on as the first, and this could possable be a non-issue, but this is a red-flag for me and im finding nothing on the forums to tell me one way or the other, so im just going to sak it: the /ROM directory is showing as 100% full. is this as it should be? did i flash the update incorrectly? can i remove some files to free some space up? i SSH into the pineapple and go th /ROM and it is almost an exact suplacate of the root directory. i installed all my moduals to a USB, and i verified they are installed there, per the tutorial here on the forums. im not compleatly n00b on this subject, but seeing a disk space as 100% full just makes me think somehting went arye as some stage. if im just being paranoid (the pineapple is functioning fine) let me know; and if someone has some explanation as to why this is full like this to ease my mind that would be fantastic thanks, and sorry if this seems like a dumb question, i just could not find the answer anywere
  14. I got a WiFi Pineapple mark IV for Christmas and tonight it broke. I (normally not hard) pushed the WPS button because it was blinking so I though the pineapple must want me to push it. Once I pushed the button it went down and didn't come back up, then the ANT connector became loose. I unplugged the Pineapple to see if the WPS button would stop blinking but it didn't and the USB light didn't light up even though I a SanDisk fit in there and the LAN light didn't light up like it normally does. Thank you Branson

  17. In the source for the urlsnarf module version 2.4 on firmware 2.7, the CSS resource is linked as follows: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/urlsnarf.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/firmware.css" /> [/CODE] These files do not exist when installed to USB or internal memory, causing the page to render incorrectly. I've tried removing and re-installing to no avail. Not sure why this is - it seemed to work fine before firmware 2.7 was installed.
  18. I've got the WiFi Pineapple Mk.IV, and it's been a rather fun tool so far. Unfortunately I seem to have ran into a problem with Site Survey, which is currently refusing to display any APs. Instead, it just shows "No data...". When I first ran it yesterday, I had the same problem, but after a reboot it seemed to work fine. This morning I've ran into the same issue, and I can't get it to work at all, despite my Windows machine reporting 14 APs nearby. I've checked the logs and ran dmsg over SSH, and can't find anything unusual. Details: Mk.IV running firmware 2.7.0 Karma switched off (only Wireless and Cron Jobs switched on) Site Survey version 2.5, running off USB wlan0 is in monitor mode Monitor interface is selected as mon0 Tried clicking Refresh APs and Refresh Clients - "Loading" appears for a second, but returns no data. Tried sending captures to internal memory and USB - no difference. Tried restarting wireless - no difference. No Javascript errors. Wireless LED doesn't seem to flicker. Any ideas?
  19. Hey guys, I hope someone can help me out. I just got my Wifi Pineapple and got it set up using Ethernet connected to PoE/LAN and Wifi sharing the internet, but after a few minutes on the pineapple control panel it drops my connection to the pineapple and to the internet. I am using it with Back Track 5 R3. Any help would be appreciated.
  20. Just thought i would start a discussion on this. I think a drift net module would be pretty cool on the pineapple, then again i have no idea how resource intensive it would be etc. I might look into it as a module one i get some ma 1337 module dev skills! lol but i am thinking that with the use of php and html that this could be very much possible. - Anton
