This happened when I checked for upgrades through the pineapple, tried to reveal the public ip adress, or tried to list the modules on the Pineapple Bar page Log file information:N/A Anything else that was attempted to 'fix' the problem: Ran the wp4.sh script through Kali Linux on VirtualBox
  2. The main problem is that the pineapple address won't load (172.16.42.1:1471) Pineapple Hardware Version: Mark IV Pineapple Software Version: I beleive 2.8.0 (I remember attempting to update) OS used to connect to the pineapple: Macintosh (MacBook Pro) and Linux (Kali Linux [ran through Virtual Box]) Network layout of how your setup is connected (including IP information): In Mac's network settings IP Address: 172.16.42.42 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0 Router: Nothing DNS Server: 8.8.8.8 Search Domains: Nothing All the tools/options that are running on the pineapple when the issue happened: It was the default, but if I did have anything it was either DNS Spoof or the Ping results from computer to pineapple: ping 172.16.42.1PING 172.16.42.1 (172.16.42.1): 56 data bytes Request timeout for icmp_seq 0 Request timeout for icmp_seq 1 Request timeout for icmp_seq 2 Request timeout for icmp_seq 3 Request timeout for icmp_seq 4 Request timeout for icmp_seq 5 Request timeout for icmp_seq 6 Request timeout for icmp_seq 7 Request timeout for icmp_seq 8 Request timeout for icmp_seq 9 Request timeout for icmp_seq 10 Request timeout for icmp_seq 11 Request timeout for icmp_seq 12 Request timeout for icmp_seq 13 Request timeout for icmp_seq 14 Request timeout for icmp_seq 15 ^C --- 172.16.42.1 ping statistics --- 17 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss Is the problem repeatable: No (it works for a while but not it does not) Steps taken which created the problem: Just changed network preferences and I always plug the power in then the ethernet (PoE) (if that matters) Error Messages: Just the ping (covered above) Log file information: Nothing Anything else that was attempted to 'fix' the problem: Well everytime I plug it in the only lights are the solid PWR light and the WPS light flashes, after like 30 seconds the WPS light goes solid and the WLAN light comes on P.S. Even when I have this problem the WiFi pineapple hotspot is viewable (pineapple ac:58)
  3. So ive been playing around with my new wifi pineapple. I'm very interested in learning the in's and outs and hope to reach out to everyone on the forums who have something to share. With that being said I am setting up my phishing files and (Stupid me) wrote my redirect.php verbiage on my error.php file. Not creating a back up I am hoping someone can SCP into their pineapple www folder and copy and paste everything in their error.php in the this topic so I can edit my file. The other option is if someone can send me a copy of their file or at least direct me to where I can get the material myself. Thanks for your help.
  4. Guys, Here's a quick script for changing your mac address. Simply run the script and enter the network card you would like to change. You will see your new mac address as well as your original mac. Enjoy! ~skysploit #!/bin/sh # This script will change your MAC address" # Usage: ./mac-me.sh # Script by skysploit clear echo "What interface would you like to change. Example; eth0" echo "" read ADAPTER; clear echo "Entering stealth mode " echo "" ifconfig $ADAPTER down macchanger -r $ADAPTER ifconfig $ADAPTER up echo "" echo "Your MAC Adrress has been changed, it will reset upon reboot"; echo "If this script failed: <apt-get install macchanger> and run as root"
  5. I tried using the instructions on the wiki for using the wifi pineapple with Mac OSX ICS. Now the wifi wont work, and I have no way to get into the pineapple. I tried both ethernet ports on the pineapple and my macbook air keeps on giving it's self self assigned IP addresses. Currently I am trapped in an airport with an almost 5 hour delay. [EDIT] I have tried sshing to 192.168.2.254 using both ports to no avail!
