  1. So I just got my pineapple very recently and I had a simple question. how do I forced people to connect to my network. here's an example. I'm at Starbucks and the original Starbucks Wi-Fi is running. so I created a fake Starbucks SSID for people to connect to. Is there a way to forced people to connect to my fake Starbucks instead of the original?

  3. I've recently purchased a signal owl and have had some success just using the internal 2.4GHz radio. However I'd now like to step things up and use my AWUS036ACH (RTL8812AU) however I'm not sure how to set this adapter up as an interface (I'm new to OpenWRT). Currently the device shows up in lsusb as expected however it does not appear if I run ip addr or ifconfig. What's the process for setting up an adapter up in OpenWRT? Is this particular adapter supported? Do I need to install a driver? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
  4. I just got my new bash bunny! I'm so excited to start using. One thing I noticed is I am unable to get the "windows key" to work. Specifically I am trying to open a command prompt but it is not working. I noticed when I use the combination of "Q GUI R" it actually presses "ALT + R". 5. Hello, I have recently purchased my wifipineapple. the first day I was able to load bulletins and follow the hak5 setup tutorial but now (the next day) I am unable to load bulletins, check for updates, or load modules from wifipineapple.com. Also, I am running on windows 10 on the Acer aspire e15. I have followed the setup tutorial and everything is configured correctly so i don't understand.

  7. Hi guys, I have a problem: I want to hack my Wifi but all the attacks which I found only worked for WPS 1.0 but not on my WPS 2.0. Of course I am open minded for other ways to hack my wifi but none of the attacks which I found worked.🙄😞
  8. Alright, so a friend gave me a USB hardware keylogger... the catch is that he doesn't remember the PIN. It's completely useless without the PIN since you need it to read stored keystrokes. So my idea is to use a rubber ducky to brute force in. The issue is that I'm not a programmer, and typing out every combination is not really worth it. So i was hoping that someone with some programming know how could send me a script, or a program to generate it. The keylogger PIN uses 3 digits, A-Z and 0-9 It works like a modifier key (Shift, Ctrl, Alt) so if the PIN was "ABC" then you would need to hold "A" then hold "B" then press "C" and release. Thanks to anyone who helps 😊
  9. I got my rubber ducky for about two days ago I played around with it and decided to get twin duck on there. I did so use a tutorial. when I was done I tried plugging it in and it started flashing red and green and I regret doing it now because I can't use it. Is there any way to fix it or reset the rubber ducky so I can start over again.
  10. Im trying to download Kali linux on my brand new Chormebook(ASUS). I started by downloading crouton and setting that up, next i go to the crosh and type: shell sudo sh -e ~/Downloads/crouton -r kali-rolling -t xfce than it said a buch of stuff than at the end said Failed to complete chroot setup.
  11. I cannot reach the setup page for the wifi pineapple tetra( http://172.16.42.1:1471 ), I am currently using windows 10, however i have also tried using a Kali Virtual machine, I have tried every solution so far, Can anyone help?
  12. I went to boot up my computer this morning and it began trying to start but then couldn't and then shuts back off, followed immediately but trying to boot again. It repeats this process endlessly if I don't cut the power. I'm pretty sure its a motherboard issue and i plan on disconnecting and reconnecting essentially everything and giving the internals a good cleaning with a can of air tomorrow. I really just want a second opinion on the situation from people that are more experienced with this sort of stuff than I am. I have a 30 second video of what's happening via mega upload if you like, thanks in advance! https://mega.nz/#!RPBSgYxb!1RYQsVPR-P2mjk_spCN4oRWraaDF6m51xuGyt8k76tk
  13. I can't connect to my wifi pineapple nano. I was able to connect to it before but I was experiencing some problems so I decided to do a firmware recovery. I followed the instructions: Next, follow these steps to access the recovery web interface and update the firmware. Unplug the WiFi Pineapple completely from all power sources. Begin holding the RESET button on the device. With the RESET button held, power on the device. Continue holding the RESET button for 10 seconds, then release. NANO: The blue LED will remain solid TETRA: The yellow LED will remain solid Connect the host PC to the WiFi Pineapple via the USB Ethernet Port NANO: The male USB A plug TETRA: The Micro USB port labeled ETH From the host PC, configure a static IP address on the WiFi Pineapple facing Ethernet interface to 192.168.1.2 with netmask 255.255.255.0 For example, in Linux run ifconfig eth1 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 up (where eth1 is the interface name of the WiFi Pineapple). From the host PC, browse to http://192.168.1.1 Click Choose File and select the factory firmware image downloaded above. Click Update Firmware. This process will take several minutes. Do not interrupt the power supply while the firmware is updating. Once complete, the WiFi Pineapple will restart. Reset the the WiFi Pineapple facing USB Ethernet interface back to DHCP or 172.16.42.42 with netmask 255.255.255.0 But when I try to connect to it via 192.168.1.1 it goes to my router login. Please Help. What am I doing wrong?
  14. Its been a long time since i started using the nano again. I took a long break from all this and now that i am getting back into it, i dont know what im doing. I have installed all the updates and the boots fine. I just don't know how to use PineAP and actually keep the internet connection so that when clients connect they get a wifi connection still but that's after this next issue you will being reading in a second. I also tried using the client AP in the networking tab and i kept it at 100 clients but nothing can even connect to it in the first place. Also i am on the network that i am trying to take over with PineAP. Back when i used to do this stuff a lot it worked well it deauthed my network and all the clients connected to my wifi pineapple that look identical to the original one just that the real one was now getting deauthed every second. If it helps i also have a 5G network that sometimes clients connect to if the other gets hit off. I am going to leave some screenshots of my wifi pineapple settings. What i am really wanting to know though is if this project has died and it is not as useful as it used to be like it was in 2016-2107 for me. What else can it do besides the PineAP thing that makes clients connect to and deauths all other networks. ANY HELP is greatly APPRECIATED. https://imgur.com/a/7BcF2iL (post of all screenshots)
  15. Hello, I was trying to use portal auth, however, I always got 403 forbidden so I pulled down the package from Sud0nick's git hub onto my wifi pineapple. When I click on the module I have to install dependencies. After a while, the pineapple wifi logo stops and dependencies have not been installed. I checked the system logs and saw these entries: Sat Aug 25 14:25:31 2018 user.info kernel: [ 7.360000] block: attempting to load /tmp/jffs_cfg/upper/etc/config/fstab Sat Aug 25 14:25:31 2018 user.info kernel: [ 7.370000] block: extroot: not configured Sat Aug 25 14:25:31 2018 user.info kernel: [ 7.380000] mount_root: switching to jffs2 overlay Can anyone help me please?
  16. I Read The Instructions for How to do this on the WifiPineapple Website, But I don't Understand the Step Where Your Supposed To Power On The Device But Not Connect it to your pc... Any Help?
  17. So Recently, Maybe a Day Ago, My WifiPineapple Nano Said it Couldn't Fetch Information from WifiPineapple.com. Obviously, This is a Problem Because I Cant Check For Updates, Get new Modules, and MOST Importantly, If a Client Connects To My WifiPineapple They Don't Have Any Wifi… I Can Still Search The Web With It Plugged In, So the Wifi Must Work. As I Said Earlier, This Just happened. I Tried Resetting My Pineapple, And Well That Didn't Work. I Went Back Through The Windows Setups (Windows is my main OS) And Everything Was Set Up Right. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.
  18. I logged on and saw an update today for my nano. I updated the firmware to 2.2.0. After updating some of the modules and seems like all the dependencies won't install. I have tried to reset the nano twice back to factory and formatted the SD card then switched SD cards and formatted that one, still won't work. I click on the not installed in the modules to get the dependencies and have tried the install on both the SD and internal storage. I don't if the DNS server is down or maybe there is something I did to the nano. Please help thank you, Jets
  19. I have an issue. I put three SSID that I do not want clients connecting to the Pineapple. No matter if I set it to Filters > SSID Filtering to Allow Mode or Deny Mode, clients with the SSID listed in the filter connect. Have I misinterpreted the intent of the SSID Filter?
  20. I've been messing with my pineapple for a bit now and have decided to try it all out on the go. I cannot seem to find any sort of set up that doesn't result it from doing a boot loop from solid yellow to blinking blue to blank and repeat. Can someone else who has done this shed a little light for me? I have the Y cable with both ends in the Anker battery and the micro usb into the UART port, I have my android device connected to the ETH1 port, what am I doing wrong?
  21. I just factory reset my Tetra and then turned on PineAP and checked all the boxes, but when I try to connect to one of the AP's on my phone it says "Authentication error occurred". What am I doing wrong?
  22. The Pineapple Stand Project This is a project I would like help on if I'm being honest more like a need help on. Please excuse any grammatical or spelling errors. Grammar and spelling are not my best area and I am only 14. A bit of background: I got the WIFI adapter sold from the hak5 shop and it works great for a person or two, but I needed something faster. So, I started watching some hak5 videos and saw WIFI adapters were amazing. The hak5 videos that got me thinking if you could do that with a wifi adapter not built for hacking what could you do with one that was. I began to have the seedlings of an idea to use the pineapple for this purpose. Then I saw the wifi cactus (for those of you that don't know what it is here are a few links https://blog.adafruit.com/2017/08/02/wificactus-when-you-need-to-know-about-hackers-wearablewednesday/ and https://youtu.be/fX_XH-09YeQ) and the idea crystalized to use a pineapple as a wifi adapter that you could control with the web interface. Sounds crazy right until you consider that basically what the wifi pineapple is already (I mean no offense hak5 I know that that is an oversimplification seriously love you guys) the wifi part is obvious but the adapter is not so obvious the adapter is the web interface more specifically when the web interface sends something to the pineapple then the pineapple changes that into something that it can recognize then sends it to the controller inside of the pineapple which is the traditional adapter being controlled by the web interface and the pineapple is sending information to the web interface is the second part of the wifi adapter. Then I remembered how this idea started which is how the idea of hoking pineapples together and controlling one pineapple with another and having them be able to exchange data (also in part due to the wifi cactus). This is what I want. Basically, for the Tetra I want to hook two of them up together through the eth0 port to the eth0 port but have one of them to give internet connection to the other. More than that, however, I want to be able to control the one wifi pineapple with the other making it into a wifi adapter and have both of them working together. Now before you click off because you don't have 2 wifi pineapple tetra this should work whether it be the tetra with a nano plugged into it, a nano plugged into a nano or a tetra to a tetra. (with some minor deviations). Now that that's all out of the way let's get to how you could do this. For simplicity, I will be referring to the pineapple that that controls the other pineapple as the host and the other pineapple as the tether. Idea 1: My first idea was to use client mode on one pineapple to connect to the management SSID on the other pineapple. This would, in theory, allow me to control both pineapples while I was connected to one wifi network. The first problem with this was that you have to browse to the same web address to control both pineapples because of the addresses being the same and that the request would have to go to the first pineapple to get to the second the request wouldn't make it. The solution was to change the web address you need to browse to for the second pineapple. Pretty simple. This still did not achieve the end result I was hoping for. For one I could not use PineAP and get a real wifi connection. I considered this a start it showed that is was possible to control 2 wifi pineapples with one internet connection. Breaking down my first idea and why it was only a partial success. My first idea was only a partial success because I could not use PineAP and get a real wifi connection the reason I could not use PineAp and get a real internet connection was that one wan1 being used for client mode to connect to the management SSID of the other pineapple and in order for me to get a real internet connection without using the eth ports I would need the wan1 of the other pineapple leaving no wan1 open for PineAP. Using the one wan1 is unavoidable because you need it for client mode the tether has to do this if you want real internet. But in order to fix the problem, we need to find a way to eliminate the need for the other wan1 that is being used to connect to the management SSID. The potential solution I came up with is to is to connect the 2 pineapples tetras eth0 to eth0 port. This would, in theory, remove the need for the other wan1. The problem is the pineapples eth0 ports are configured to be inputs and I need one to be an output (the tether) and the other to be an input (the host) in order for this to work. So if one of you that is better at coding then I am can figure out a solution to this problem please share it with me. Or if this is not possible please share that with me. If there is another way to do this, please share that with me. Assuming that there is a solution to that problem. I would like to develop a module for this actually 2 modules one for the host and one for the tether and Host would appreciate if anyone wanted to help develop the modules, in other words, have to code the modules while I fail at helping you code (I am a little past hello world in java but can copy and past with the best of them :) and tell you what I think it should do. Please contact me alexriniker5510@gmail.com if you have any ideas, suggestions, want to help, want to crush my dreams and tell me it's not possible, or ideally want to do this entire project for me ; ). PS. the bootup loop in my case was caused by a short in the pineapple that meant that it was not getting enough power, so it could get through the first part of the bootup but when it came to turning on the wifi which sucked away the little power it was running on, to begin with making it shut down then attempt to boot up again. I was able to figure this out by pumping more and more electricity into it until I was able to see the short I would not recommend this for attempting to find the short however because I was lucky, and it was a fairly large short but there's a fine line between enough electricity to see the short and enough to permanently damage the circuits in the pineapple. I felt obligated to you guy to find the causes of the bootup loop after you sent me another wifi pineapple. sincerely, Alex
  23. I'm relatively new to owning a wifi pineapple nano and I need help, I can get people connected to the pineapples fake ap but now I want to rickroll them. I think I need to be using the DNS spoofing module but I'm not sure how. Please help :)
  24. I have been trying to figure out a problem with this payload and for some reason I just cant get it work i have impacket in my tools file and installed when I plug my Bunny in it goes throw the colors but it gets stuck in the blue color and i cant figure out why? Do anyone have the same problem?
  25. Ok so I'm setting up my nano and I've done the whole setup process which went fine but now I'm to the bulletin update and I can't get it to find my wifi. I've discovered that if I disconnect the pineapple from the USB then refresh the internet it works just fine. So there is something that I'm missing "something that I neglected to do "clearly."" I'm using a 2018 MacBook Pro Also I might add that I'm a complete green hat newbie at this. I'll be starting a Hunt program very soon and I'd love to add the nano into my arsenal of tools. Again to recap I've connected the nano to the MacBook with both USB's then followed the setup process which went smoothly "or so I thought" but now that I'm on the dashboard the bulletin will not refresh do to an error of no internet connection. when I disconnect the nano from its USB then the internet works fine. When I plug it back in nothing works again. I'm sure this question has been asked so if you know the page the thread is on that would be great. Otherwise some advice would be very nice. Thank you, N.
