  1. please admins, i am not sure which category to post this under thats why am doing it on here. i am sorry if this violates your rules, incase it does please help me move it to the appropriate section. i hope i dont get a query for this tho. i just need help with a script that can do all that the topic says, i am testing a voting site, and ive been able to deduce that i can vote multiple times making use of "advanced cookie manager to clear the cookies sent from the server", "random agent spoofer to randomize the user agent on every request made", "Hide my ip to also randomise my ip after each vote". Note: they are all browser addons. which also means i have to reload the page everytym myself and click on a new ip each time. the only automated one is the random agent spoofer, and i also have to click by myself. dont wana sound lazy or anything but please, anyone who has an idea of how i can get an automated script that does all 3 "IP spoofing, User agent changing, and cookie deleting". any modern programming language would do the trick i guess, but if u know of steps i can take to achieve this by writing my own custom script please your ideas are also welcome. i need it asap. thanks in advance for your answers.
  2. First let me say when using my Nano via the App on my phone, the networking functions correctly. When using it on my Windows 7 laptop however, I get no connectivity to the network. Bulletins will not load ( Error connecting to WiFiPineapple.com. Please check your connection. ) nor will the module list populate. My home network does not use a standard ip pool, that is to say, not 192.168.x.x - rather I use a 10.77.x.x. IMHO this is where the problem lies. Windows objects strongly to the settings recommended by the forums and video 'Setup Guide For Windows" https://www.wifipineapple.com/pages/setup. because "Warning - The default gateway is not on the same network segment (subnet) that is defined by the IP address and subnet mask. do you wish to save this configuration?" If I click [Yes] nothing changes. My IPCONFIG is : Ethernet adapter Pineapple Nano: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : xxx::xxx:xxx:xxx:xxx%xx IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 172.16.42.42 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.77.x.1 Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : xxx::xxx:xxx:xxx:xxx%xx IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.77.x.49 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.77.x.1 Is there any way to work on this network or is the Nano slave to a 192.168.x.x schema? thanks!!!
  3. Hi all, I'm looking at making a script on a CD-ROM, that will; recognise the operating system of the machine it has been inserted in to run a specific script for that operating system Is there a cross-platform script/code language that would be recognised by both Windows and OSX, as a standard build? I understand that Python, for example, could run on both, however this would require the user to have installed it. Is there a language that both OSX and Windows would recognise straight-out-of-the-box? I tried a few internet searches, but everything I find pretty much states you have to download additional files to the PC (e.g; installing Python), which is no good. Thank you.
  4. Hello Hak5 Forums, I am new to the forums but am not new to the show, I am a current subscriber and watch almost every video that is uploaded. I had an interesting idea and wanted to see if it was to possible so I signed up here to find out. I'm trying to see if a linux server, with something like LDAP can also handle all users and permissions for multiple clients so when I go from computer to computer I use the same username and credentials and have the same permissions when accessing network drives. The problem that I am seeing is that for the windows side it would require Windows Server, and that is something I would rather not have to deal with. Eventually if it is possible to do this, I would like to deploy this on a central virtualization server and have all my computer both windows and linux already configured with my credentials and my network shares mapped and ready to use. Thanks in Advance, Levi
  5. Alright, I'll be that guy. I'm assuming this process is so easy that no doc was needed and I just missed something weird. You guys help me out and if we think a doc is needed, I agree to write it. Unboxed the Tetra, and plugged up the y cable. Since the first step seems to be firmware related, I also plugged in the wall power. Opened a browser (tried Chrome and Firefox) and went to 172.16.42.1:1471. No joy. Verified that middle LED is solid blue, so I'm assuming unit is "booted". Try again. No joy. Tried the other micro USB port, same process. No joy. Tried to connect up an ethernet cable. The video I found for the Mark V said it would hand out a DHCP address, but no joy. Hard coded myself as 172.16.42.2/24. No joy in the browser again. But I do notice a yellow/amber light. Progress? Don't know. Tried pinging it (I don't know the product well enough yet to know if ICMP is on or off). No reply. Turned on wireless adapter on my computer and I see a pineapple related SSID. Connect up, get to the unit through the browser, update the firmware, reboots. It advises turning off the wireless for security during setup. Well crap. Figure I have to not be afraid to play with this crap right? Turn it off (basically briefly hold down the reset button, instead of a long hold) and when it reboots, no wireless. Go through the whole thing again. I am plugged into the wall, I have tried the Y cable to both ports, and I have tried an ethernet cable. I don't seem to be able to get to this joker except through wireless. No biggie, I'm sure I can SSH or telnet or something to it. Look through the forums and it appears there is SSH capability. Download Putty. Without more to go on, I leave Putty at default (more than happy to make changes if anyone has something like, "Oh it HAS to be SSH v1"). SSH to 172.16.42.1, timeout. No joy. I try to get to is serial. Like I would to console into a Cisco switch. No joy. No timeout, but no joy. No ping, that may be expected, no SSH, no HTTP, but I have a feeling if I reset it and turn back on wifi, I'll get in. Can anyone help me get past this first little hurdle? Like I said, I'll doc it. I have to be missing something stupid. You guys have to realize that us Windows users need a little hand holding right? :) Holler. Oh yeah, one more thing. If I unplug the wall power, the lights go out. Maybe my USB ports are both bad? Sorry guys, I'm just not sure yet how to troubleshoot this unit any more to tell you what is and isn't working. All I really notice is the LED is either on or off. I just reset it and sure enough, I can get to it over wifi.
  6. Hi all, I'm using... Get-ADuser $UserID -property MemberOf | % {$_.MemberOf | Get-ADGroup | select Name | sort name} ...to nicely list all the of the Active Directory groups that a user is a member of, in an easy-to-read format. I'm trying to only list the groups that begin with an @ sign. So instead of... @Group 1 @Group 2 Group 3 Group 4 ...I would get just... @Group 1 @Group 2 I'm then looking to remove these groups from the user's account. So, in summary; Get only the MemberOf groups beginning with @, for a user remove user from these groups How would I go about this? I've been playing for a while, but have got no further than the script above. Thank you,
  7. Hey all, I've been learning nmap for the last week, scanning my own network for practice. I've managed to find open ports on other devices, however when I scan my Windows 10 machine, all ports are always filtered. I've tried; fragmenting the packets with -f spoofing my MAC to that of my internet Hub slowing down the scan with -T2 and --scan-delay turning off PING with -Pn But nmap always returns that all 1000 ports are filtered. The machine has Windows firewall turned on, but no other firewall software running. Any ideas? Thanks,
  8. Apologies for the length of this, but it may help other people So yesterday I received my shiny new Tetra and thought "great, lets plug it in and have a play" :) The instructions are nice and simple: Download the latest WiFi Pineapple TETRA firmware - complete Plug the TETRA into your computer using the included USB Y cables - yep, done, pair of USB3 ports on my main Windows 10 PC. Also plugged in the mains adapter. Solid blue LED showing Browse to http://172.16.42.1:1471 (Only Chrome and Firefox are officially supported) - yeah. Nope. Not happening. Nada. Zip Follow the onscreen instructions to complete setup So, opened a command prompt and ran IPconfig APIA address on the USB-Ethernet port - not a good start. So its not picking up DHCP from the Tetra. OK thats probably the PC. Swap to laptop number 1. Windows 10 Plug in the Tetra to the two USB ports on the side. Still got a solid blue light on the Tetra. Still got APIA address on the USB Ethernet port Re-install the drivers for the USB-Ethernet port - still nada. The interface in windows is showing as connected, unidentified. Cannot connect to the management page Check the Wifi networks showing - 2x Pineapple_xxxx networks (presuming one 2.4 and one 5Ghz) - lets try connecting to them, and yep can "connect" but again, no DHCP address. Now mildly frustrated. Swap to laptop number 2. Cannot connect to the management page Now getting more frustrated Swap to laptop number 3. Kali Linux 2 Plug in the Tetra to the two USB ports on the side. Still got a solid blue light on the Tetra. Still got APIA address on the USB Ethernet port Re-install the drivers for the USB-Ethernet port - still nada. The interface is showing in ifconfig but with not IP Cannot connect to the management page Now beginning to think hardware failure Swap to laptop number 4. Mac Install the Realtek driver for Mac, new USB 10/100 adapter appears Plug in the Tetra to the two USB ports on the side. Still got a solid blue light on the Tetra. Still got APIA address on the USB Ethernet port Re-install the drivers for the USB-Ethernet port - still nada. The interface in windows is showing as connected, unidentified. Cannot connect to the management page Now VERY frustrated and thinking about DoA's, RMA's back to the states.... OK, lets try something radical At this point the only thing I've got left is to rebuild my Kali box as a Windows 7 box. Which completes and then takes another couple of hours to patch. By this time I've gone down the pub for the evening. Laptop number "5". Kali Box rebuilt as Windows 7 Install the Realtek driver for Mac, new USB 10/100 adapter appears Plug in the Tetra to the two USB ports on the side. Still got a solid blue light on the Tetra. Still got APIA address on the USB Ethernet port Re-install the drivers for the USB-Ethernet port - still nada. The interface in windows is showing as connected, unidentified. Cannot connect to the management page Now convinced there is something wrong with the hardware. 5 different platforms, 4 different OS' and not one DHCP address. Nothing on the forums that seems to apply. Last thing to do - reapply the factory firmware Follow the instructions on the FAQ page and bang, once the firmware is "refreshed" back to factory, all of a sudden everything is working on my W7 laptop, and I could login, complete the setup etc. So its finally all working. TL;DR - if you really really can't connect to a new tetra and you've tried drivers, connectors, everything you can - try reapplying the factory firmware.
  9. Linux is by far my favorite operating system, the more I use it the more I dislike windows. I want to switch all my computers over to Linux, but I am also a PC gamer. I could dual boot but restarting just to play a game is a hassle. I've heard about some virtualization tech that allows for hardware pass through. However every article I've read requires more than one monitor, which is fine for my desktop, but I want to do it on my laptop as well. My question is this, is it possible to run a virtual guest that can use my nvidia graphics card, but doesn't require separate monitors for guest and host?
  10. Hi all, So, this script shouldn't work without a password for a user, but it does. Using PSTools and being on the same network as the target PC. Set the %Time% to be in a couple of minutes . . . XCOPY C:\Foo.bat \\%Hostname%\c$ /E /S /C /Y psexec \\%Hostname% -s -c -f cmd.exe /c "Schtasks /create /RU %UserID% /SC ONCE /TN %NameOfTask% /TR c:\Foo.bat /ST %Time% This actually successfully runs Foo.bat on a user's PC, as the %UserID% set in the script, but doesn't actually prompt for their password. It just runs. I've even managed to use this to send a command to copy files, from a folder that only they have access to, to a location I can then pull them from. If I clean up after me (delete schtask and bat file), it looks to the system like they ran the command and not anyone else. Security flaw?
  11. USB Rubber Ducky Tool Windows GUI for USB Rubber Ducky Description This tool was made to help beginner users of the USB Rubber Ducky create and copy payloads directly to their Ducky's MicroSD card. I decided to do this mini project since I am in an Intro C# class. I added all the features/options I could think of and tried to make is as user friendly as possible. I would love any feedback, recommendations, or tips that you have to offer! The GitHub Project Direct Download Features Select HD: Which drive the home directory for the ducky will be made.MicroSD: Which removable storage device the .bin file will be copied to.Refresh Devices: Will refresh the HD and MicroSD options.Keyboard Layout: Allows users to select keyboard layout of scripts using encoder 2.x options. 12. I set up an awesome way to get the linux terminal on Windows without Cygwin. I threw Kali linux on my Raspberry Pi then plugged it into my computer via ethernet and assigned an IP to the Raspberry Pi via DHCP Server. Run the assigned IP through PuTTY, giving access to the linux terminal. So I usually hook up the Raspberry Pi to my computer from my backpack and thats it I have the power to run the linux terminal on a nice Windows UI. Anyone do something similar? Sorry that the photos didn't rotate properly.
  13. I'm doing a custom build with long instructions and it says copy a certain batch file and paste it into the start menu. But it's not working. It's not like with Windows 7 where you can just drag and drop. I'm not sure where the start menu folder is. Can anybody help me here? What is the location of the start menu folder in Windows 10?

  15. Hi all, I'm using PSEXEC to map a drive on a user's machine remotely, amongst running various other CMD commands to amend registry files etc. I am running PSTOOLS on my machine under an admin account, because I cannot use PSTOOLS otherwise. On running the following script, as an example of one of the CMD commands I am trying to run, it runs it as me (as in, an admin). However, I don't want it to do this, as this doesn't map the drive for the user. I want the script to run the CMD command as the currently logged on user, not as me. :MapDrive psexec \\%IP% -s -i -c -f -d cmd.exe /s /c "NET USE X: \\GBUS0042\SMSAPPS$ /persistent:yes" IF ERRORLEVEL 0 ECHO Success! Pause endlocal GOTO Start How would I go about this? I have tried calling a batch file instead, but it still runs the batch file as me (admin) on the user's PC, rather than as them. The idea behind these scripts is to stop me having to remote to every user who simply requires a registy amendment or a drive mapping. Thank you in advance, Haze
  16. Hello, I want to test the strength of passwords. Assuming I have the password-cracking skills/tools of an average hacker, I want to turn the passwords into hashes and then try to crack them. This will give me a realistic picture of how strong they are. My question is: How do I turn the passwords into hashes? Does it matter what hashing algorithm I use? Thanks Nicholas
  17. Hi all, I am using the following CMD command; reg add "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" /v Personal /t REG_SZ /d P:\ /f However, this doesn't work. The key already exists, as as 'M:\', but I need it to change to 'P:\'. The CMD prompt states 'The operation completed successfully', but the key does not change. I need to do this via CMD, rather than a .reg or regedit. Thank you.
  18. I don't know if this is even possible, I just opened my turtle that I got at defcon this year. I saw TetherATurtle on https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/36460-tut-tether-turtle-to-laptop-like-the-wifi-pineapple/, but I am not trying to tell my computer to share connection with turtle. I want to plug the turtle into a desktop with internet connection, then plug an ethernet between the turtle and my laptop, and my laptop to have an internet connection from the turtle. [desktop with internet] <=> [turtle] <==ethernet==> [laptop] The desktop is windows 7, and it is domained. Not sure if I have access to change the internet settings, or else I know I could easily set up ICS. On Monday I will check if the access to change settings it there, but if this is possible it would be a great turtle module if the feature is not something that can be set right now.
  19. Hello everybody My usb rubber ducky arrives in a few days and i have another bunch of questions: 1. It comes with micro SD card, doesn´t it? How much is it capability? (2, 4, 8 GB?) 2. Does it came with pre-installed firmware? 3. Does java version matter when building payloads? 4. Does exists any noob-proof tutorial? you know Thanks in advance!
  20. I'm trying to schedule a startup application with schtasks on a Windows 7 box. I get Access Denied. schtasks works without administrator privileges if you are setting it for specfic time of day but not with startup tasks. Is there a tricksy way to schedule startup tasks on Windows 7 and later without being admin?
  21. So I just got my Pineapple today and followed the official instructions to the letter. Everything went smooth till I was trying to share my internet connection with the pineapple. SETUP: My Computer (Windows 8.1) is connected to the internet through a wireless connection Pineapple is connected with an ethernet cable When trying to set the static x.x.42.42 IP for my Ethernet interface, I can no longer ping nor access the Pineapple web UI However, when I choose the "bridge connection" option (right clicking on a network adapter) and Windows does it thing, I can access the Web UI BUT it kills my internet connection. Lastly, client mode works fine, the "Show IP" feature under "Network" returns the IP, however I am unable to check for updates, but I believe this to be a separate issue. How do I proceed from here?
  22. I just become my Pineapple. I've installed it, connected it via LAN to Notebook. The Notebook was connected over WLAN to Internet. I'm using Windows. Sharing of WLAN Adapter is enabled. LAN Connection (to Pineapple) configured: 172.16.42.42, Subnet: 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway: none, DNS 8.8.8.8 Connection form Notebook to Pineapple works fine. Connection from Smartphone to Pineapple works fine. But no DNS was resolved. Ping (via Putty) to www.google.com was not working. Ping to 173.194.67.104 (IP of google.com) was working. With Smartphone: when I go to www.google.com -> Site was not resolved. When I type 173.194.67.104 in browser: google.com was showing. Route: Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface default 172.16.42.42 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 br-lan 172.16.42.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 br-lan What do I making wrong?
  23. Hi there, i'm new to this forum and I have a question... I tried to write a script for my Rubber Ducky, which should run PasswordFox and Chromepass on the victim's machine, but if I try to run run PasswordFox with PasswordFox.exe /stext passwords.txt but ever when I do this, PasswordFox only opens the GUI and creates no .txt?!?! Could anyone help me? Greetings, Crococksmiltsch
  24. What's up guys? Apparently I didn't think this completely through: I have Ubuntu installed on a 32GB SDHC card that I have installed on my Asus G75VW (currently rocking 8.1) and my idea was to use the SD card as the *third HDD on the system (I have both HDD bays used for Win 8.1..probably a mistake but I'll deal with that after the fact..working to SSD) SO when I go to hit ESC to try and boot to the SD card, I can only select between Windows, DVD drive, or only USB (when one is present). When I went to install Ubuntu on the card , I swore I installed GRUB, but it's not even recognizing the drive as a whole. Am I missing something, or does my logic here not work?
  25. What's up gang! OK, I call upon the wizards. I offer bandwidth to sacrifice! (Corny joke..) OK so here is the skinny: I have a computer at work. It's been a problem child since the opening (few years at least). Windows 7 32bit, Enterprise, on our server. It's been stuck on an update that I have officially ran out of options except a "Windows Repair". ** Security Update for WIndows 7 (KB2864202) ** - I've tried using Windows Update Troubleshooter. Nothing. - I've done SFC. Nothing. - I've tried installing VIA the stand-alone installer and downloading the update itself and installing. Nothing. - I've renamed the SoftwareDistribution folder to softwaredistribution.old. Nothing - I've ran chkdsk /f /r - Apparently the /f & the /r tags are DOA in windows 7..? at the time of writing this, I'm running a Defraggler scan , I read somewhere that sholves the issue. I've also seen a lot of articles referencing this update with Windows Vista (which is unsetling) Any thoughts?
