  1. Is there any way for me to inject a payload into the duck that records keystrokes automatically, or at least run a software that i made, a keylogger, automatically upon insertion? If there is can you give the codes? Thank you.
  2. Hello. I just got a usb rubber ducky in the past couple of days. I ran the OS X 10 second root on my other computer to test how it works. https://github.com/mosca1337/OSX-10-Second-Root How can I get rid of it from my computer because it is taking up a port?
  3. Hello... I saw that there is a 'Composite Duck 4x CAPS Trigger' for the Ducky. I have downloaded and compiled some of the Source Code but I didn't see any code for the x4 Caps trigger. I know midnitesnake is working with this, but I wondered if it was possible to get a copy of the source code for the x4 Caps Normally I would experiment with while loops and if statements, but I really don't want to damage the Ducky. It's not that I'm lazy, I just don't want to damage my little Ducky. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
  4. Ever wanted to know whats inside all of those saved bins? forgot what your payload did and is too risky to try? check out my python scrip to decode them at: https://github.com/JPaulMora/Duck-Decoder help is much appreciated! need support for non-english keyboards. run it without args for help. Fully tested & working on OS X 10.10.3

    USB fun

Hi all, Basically, I have a 16 Gb USB 2.0 stick. How can I make it as dangerous as possible, for fun? Any suggestions welcome, even if they seem obvious they probably won't be to me. Thanks!
  6. First i want to say that i don't want to be competitive against the Hakshop and if you can u should buy a real USB Rubber Ducky from them, cause it's really made simple and the chip they use is much faster in executing or typing the payloads But did you ever wanted to make your own USB Rubber Ducky? Well now you can using a regular USB stick, i must start with mentioning that it can not be done with all the USB sticks you will need one with a specific Nand chipset on it. More specific the Phison 2251-03 (2303) So now you are probably wondering where do i get that specific usb stick then, well you may have one laying around! You can check it using GetFlashInfo You can download it from this LINK On github there is also a list with all know compatible devices, but most off them are not for sale anymore. So what do i do then ? Well come and visit my website and find the guide on how to make your own USB Rubber Ducky using a normal USB Stick or buy a clean USB stick with the Phison 2251-03 chip on it It's all explained with screenshots and text I tried to post the whole guide and screenshots here cause i want to help this community out, but it wont let me cause it uses to much pictures. So find the guide here http://www.pentestingshop.com/pentesting/make-your-own-usb-rubber-ducky-using-a-normal-usb-stick/ Hope you all like this and please let me know what u think about it. 8. Hey guys, New to the forum, recently purchased a Pineapple and I was hoping to get some advice on batteries. Which of the below would work best with the Pineapple MKV: http://www.amazon.co.uk/6400mAh-Portable-External-Technology-Motorola-Black/dp/B005NFOA0S/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1427133901&sr=8-16&keywords=Anker http://www.amazon.co.uk/16000mAh-Portable-External-Technology-Motorola-Black/dp/B00D5T3QK4/ref=sr_1_4?s=telephone&ie=UTF8&qid=1427134169&sr=1-4&keywords=Anker http://www.amazon.co.uk/10000mAh-Portable-PowerIQTM-Technology-USB-charged-Black/dp/B0063AAIRG/ref=sr_1_9?s=telephone&ie=UTF8&qid=1427134169&sr=1-9&keywords=Anker I'm also going to get this cable with it as I've read it's not wise to use USB to USB: http://www.amazon.co.uk/StarTech-Type-Barrel-Power-Cable/dp/B009JXJITS/ref=pd_sim_computers_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0FYPV9KN9CW1DR9YTB4N Please note I have gone through other threads on this forum in regards to this and the batteries recommended are either no longer available or not sold in the UK. Feel free to recommend anything else besdies the above. Thanks in advance.
  9. Hi, I want to use my 8GB USB stick as a multiboot USB which can boot into useful tools like ophcrack and kali. I have seen that Hak5 have many videos on this topic including Multipassing usb's, Katana and such. Some of these are as old as 2006. I am interested in using Katana, but I would like the most up to date USB toolkit, from 2014/15. If you need any more info, ask. Thanks!
  10. Hello, I am new the usb ducky and creating files. I'm trying to run this command... java -jar duckencoder.jar -i example_1.txt -o inject.bin but it's saying that Could not find or load main class -jar. I am using a Mac, instead of linux or windows, I'm not sure if that makes a difference? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  11. Hi to all, I am playing with this fantastic gadget and I very like it ! I ordered more than 10 usb and all works great. I am also working on a custom firmware so I had cloned the svn repository for compile the frmwares. Currently I am working on composite_duck firmware: Composite_Duck.zip. In this firmware I have notice a bug..that elaborate only 77-90 instructions. My operations are: --> open a notepad --> write text here. The maximum lenght that I can write into notepad is only 77 character. The character/instructions are hard-coded into the firmware.. trought the array ui_sequence. Into the wiki I read that this firmware could write more than 2048 characters. Anyone have the same problem ? Coulb be a problem becuase I haven't a "delay" ? Many thanks,
  12. Hello! I know; there's lotsa older discussions related/around modem support for MK IV, but not with this particular modem. Anyone tested with this model (Huawei E5776s-32) ? It certainly finds the device, but only as storage - makes me wonder: Does the dongle drive modem through the USB at all? Thanks.
  13. What's up guys? Apparently I didn't think this completely through: I have Ubuntu installed on a 32GB SDHC card that I have installed on my Asus G75VW (currently rocking 8.1) and my idea was to use the SD card as the *third HDD on the system (I have both HDD bays used for Win 8.1..probably a mistake but I'll deal with that after the fact..working to SSD) SO when I go to hit ESC to try and boot to the SD card, I can only select between Windows, DVD drive, or only USB (when one is present). When I went to install Ubuntu on the card , I swore I installed GRUB, but it's not even recognizing the drive as a whole. Am I missing something, or does my logic here not work?
  14. I created a tutorial on how to get a remote shell on any windows PC in 5 seconds using RubberDucky... enjoy! https://crowdshield.com/blog/2015/pwn-any-windows-pc-in-5-seconds-with-badusb.php
  15. One thing that frustrates me is when someone has disabled booting from USB via the BIOS menu. Would it be possible to bypass this in a method similar to what Rubber Ducky uses? I'm not entirely sure how to develop such an exploit since I'm still in the process of learning, but I figured you guys would know what I'm talking about. If this idea has been done before, please point me in the right direction. I tried searching around for it on the net but haven't found anything as of yet.
  16. Dear Hak5, I am desperately trying to install Kali Linux on my mid 2010 macbook pro. Basicly what I want to do is to install the iso on an external harddrive wich has 2 partitions. The first one is for my regular data and the second one is ment for Kali. I red on the kali page that the best way to do it is to use the unix 'dd' command: so what I did is: sudo dd if=kali-linux.iso of=dev/disk2s3 bs=1m After 10 minutes of copying the files I got a message that all the files were copied. I tried to boot it up with and without refind but got the same error: no bootable device, press any key... I mounted the disk to see if the files were copied but could only mount the first partition. The second partition wich contained the kali files could not be mounted. Disk utility gave the following error: I cant repair the disk because this also prompts an error wich states that I should restore or erase the disk. some other facts: -I tried Unetbootin, didnt work. prompted error: no bootable device, press any key... -I tried a usb stick with 16gb ram, FAT, same error -I tried to run it with vmware fusion, got it up and running but could not get my awus036nh to work in bridged mode. And im sure I tried some other things that I cant remember at the moment...running out of options. Any help would be appreciated!
  17. Hi, I got the ALFA AWUS036NHA a week ago and I keep running into the problem that the usb keeps deinitializing. 18. Hi guys, My coworker's daughter received a USB credit card in the mail with no name or any indication of where it came from on the box. It basically looks like an American Express Platinum but with a USB that flips out. She was going to toss it out but gave it to me knowing I'm into these kinds of things. I want to plug the card into an old beater machine and see what's up with it, but I'm not sure where to begin or what to look for. My current plan is to look at instructions for setting up badUSB and see if there's any correlation to this USB device. Any ideas of what else I can look for? Pictures are always nice so I attached a picture of it.
  19. Hello, so I am working on my bachelors in network security and I have started messing around with electronics as a hobby. I was looking online for anyone that has added a usb port to the Pineapple Juice 1800, and could not find anything so I decided to give it a try myself. The little board with the usb port is from one of those car usb adapters that plugs into the cig lighter. I bought it for 99 cents with free shipping off ebay a while back. It takes 12v from the vehicle and converts it into 5v for usb, so I figured it would work just fine with this battery pack. The first thing I did was take off the led that was on the board since there is already one on the PJ1800. I then soldered (very poorly) the positive and ground wires to the appropriate connectors on the board. I used a multi-meter to figure out which terminals to solder the wires from the usb board to. I crammed everything in the box. There is not a lot of room so the usb port sticks out from the case. It’s not very pretty, but it works.
  20. Hi, I'm new in this, someone could help me with the steps to make a usb (Twin duck)?? I would appreciate it very much.

  23. Ok! I've been looking at this post: https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/2361-usb-switchblade-development/ and I'm wondering if there is going to be another version of the ducky with a U3 partition/launchpad. This would make the ducky even more powerful than what it already is. Is there any thoughts about a new version of the Rubber Ducky?
  24. Hi guys, Today I finaly got my Alfa AWUS036NHA, but I have a problem with it. When I connect it to any computer or any OS the LED starts blinking and it keeps connecting and disconnecting from the host computer. I tried using other USB cables, so this won't be the problem. Any kind of help will be nice. Vinnii
