  1. I had successfully managed to connect to my router via ethernet cable and access the portal. I could even download modules and see the bulletin, and clients could connect and browse the internet. Then I had to move my gear and set it back up. When I did so, I had to put my WiFi to share with the ethernet for the router as I did not need to share the connection anymore previously. Now with sharing on, I cannot connect via the IP. there is also no choice to join via management WPA2 as the router was reset, however the default open AP shows. The router successfully boots up every time it is unplu

  3. [TL;DR below] Hello, Firstly I would like to say that the Tetra is an amazing piece of equipment and love that it is still being updated. Yesterday I powered up my Tetra again and noticed all the new updates (has probably not been on for a year) and love that it is still very active. That being said, I would like to talk about active remote logging. My goal is to set up the Pineapple Tetra to listen to beacons/probe requests, send this information (preferable syslog 514) to a logcollector so that I can send the information to a Kibana or Grafana dashboard. I live near a pretty b
  4. Hello there, I'm experiencing constant Wifi Pineapple Crashes while running Deauth attacks against both 2,4 and 5GHz networks, even with having power adapter plugged in. Since I really need Pineapple right now during wireless networks audit - I'm asking for some help what to do about that bug, get it around. Also, during use of Beacon Response of PineAP I'm experiencing crashes. Device simply reboots itself. Is there any mean of troubleshooting that?
  5. Hello guys, I'm new here at the forum so be gracious with me ? I found my "old" Pineapple Tetra from I think the beginnig of last year and forgot the password to login... So I want to reset it, but there is no reset buttons... The only thing I found was 5 switches at the site of the power supply, I also open up the case, but there is also no reset button. It should be the same model as shown in this picture Could anybody help me? Thanks ?
  6. Darren / Seb, I have a couple questions regarding the cables and batteries that are included with theTetra and the Nano. 1) For the Nano, why did you decide to only include a USB power cable but not one that could be used to tether it (for setup)? It would be nice if the produce page in the Hak shop was a little more clear on this. Along with the Youtube setup video at .2) Why didn't you include an AC adapter to power the tetra? For $200 or $300, I feel like it should have come with one. To me, it's kind of like linksys sending a battery with their routers instead of a power cord. 3) Is
  7. Powered the tetra up out of the box, got a solid yellow light on power up, tried following setup instructions in Kali, no joy, setup through Windows 7 no joy. Windows 10, no joy. Ubuntu 16.04 no joy. Been searching forums but I have yet to find a solution. Cannot connect to either setup webpage or recovery webpage. Connected to uart, here is reset output: resetting... 8. My Tetra works perfectly when connected on the 12v plug of the Tetra but does not work when powered by USB, whether on my Linux Laptop or from an external battery like the pineapple juice 15000 sold by hak5. For your information, I connect on the plug eth1 of the Tetra with the Y USB cable. Any idea? Thank you.
  9. What is up! I'm new to the community and glad to find tons of answers to most of my questions regarding my new nano. I sorta dabble in web development but not an expert with my nano. I was just curious to porting a Web based SSH Terminal Client into a module. Has anyone worked on this idea, yet? I've searched and haven't found a particular tread on this subject. Most of my experience has been reverse engineering. I currently use different clients to SSH into my device but would like to see or help develop some type of internal module that allows to ssh into itself without using a client on Lin
  10. I've been messing with my pineapple for a bit now and have decided to try it all out on the go. I cannot seem to find any sort of set up that doesn't result it from doing a boot loop from solid yellow to blinking blue to blank and repeat. Can someone else who has done this shed a little light for me? I have the Y cable with both ends in the Anker battery and the micro usb into the UART port, I have my android device connected to the ETH1 port, what am I doing wrong?
  11. I just factory reset my Tetra and then turned on PineAP and checked all the boxes, but when I try to connect to one of the AP's on my phone it says "Authentication error occurred". What am I doing wrong?
  12. Hello to all, I am trying to configure the pineaple but when entering http://172.16.42.1:1471 I give it in get started, I press the reset button but the pineapple is turned off and it does not come back online to configure Regards,

  14. Does anyone have the dimensions and maximum temperature rating for the Tetra unit?
  15. Hello friends, I'm having a new issue when connecting to the open AP. I can connect to Management AP without issues but when I try to connect to open AP, I get "authentication Problem" on my phone, tablet, laptop, pc ..etc any device I tried. It doesn't connect all at all. I RTFM'd but had no luck :/ I seem to be missing something simple tho Steps taken: - reset the pineapple to default - no mac filtering in place - allowed association - latest firmware installed = results can't connect to open AP. any help would be appreciated.
  16. Hello Forum users, I got some issues with my wifi pineapple Tetra I have bought this product a few weeks ago. 1. When plugging in the two cables it says in Windows 10/8.1 and 7 "USB device not recognized" And also not working with the adapter for extra power. However, the first time using the WiFi PineApple it works fine but it doesn't install any driver or recognize the USB cable driver Regards Me.
  17. Reaver 1.6 As you may or may not know Reaver have gone approx. two years without updates. It recently got a big update v1.6 I haven't heard or seen anything about the newest version being compiled for our devices, so i took matters into my own hands and managed to compile it properly. I thought it'd be smart to make a thread about it, where people can post any bugs/issues that they're experiencing, and i'll see if i can get it fixed. But also to let people know that there exist a new and improved version now. My GitHub repo. contains the Makefile needed to compile it with
  18. Hi All, I am new to the Tetra, however after reading numerous posts and watching the videos, I cannot get internet access on my tetra when connected to my windows 10 laptop. I have attached screenshots of the set up as per other posts and the IP from the cmd prompt, but I still do not have access. I don't know if this is a windows 10 issue, but after following the instructions to set static ip, it made it an unidentified network. This is where I believe the issue is and once this is able to be resolved my issues will be fixed. My question is, if I connect a LAN cable into the po
  19. I am having an issue with the tetra when it comes to deauthing from the recon tab. I scan the network and can see devices that are on particular SSIDs. When I click on the down arrow and click deauth nothing happens and that device is never deauthed from the network. Anyone else having this same issue? Am I doing something wrong? I didn't seem to have the same issue with the nano.
  20. Hi, I was looking at the pineapples and found the Nano and Tetra very interesting but on the Hak5 store description, they don't really compare the too together. I'd like to know especially if the size of the Tetra is worth it if it has a lot of extra range and power. I've also heard the Tetra needs a lot of batteries while the Nano doesn't. So what's worth to get between these 2 models in terms of range, power and stealth? Thanks
  21. On our devices it is possible to run Python code, but even a simple "Hello World" Python script can take up 6-8 seconds to run, at worst! Investigations seems to show that all Python modules are kept in .py source code, and is compiled in memory on each run. (To save space i guess) Due to having alot of modules and that we're using small embedded devices, this causes delays in even the simplest of Python-related code! Example: Alot of the python scripts on my Mana Toolkit is slow, and causes the CPU-usage to sky-rocket. So what can we do do 'fix' this? Open a SSH terminal to
  22. Hi guys, Anyone know how I can get shell access in using any modern browsers (Chrome, IE, Firefox, etc. so that the browser doesn't bitch at me and say I need to upgrade to latest browser version) by browsing to a URL? I tried putting a malicious iframe on my evil portal and using these exploits: auxiliary/server/browser_autopwn, auxiliary/server/browser_autopwn2. I even tried downgrading to IE 8 then using the exploit: exploit/windows/browser/ms10_002_aurora. But so far I got nothing. :( No meterpreter sessions. This is for a presentation, by the way. Any of you gu
  23. Hi there, Just received my Pineapple TETRA, unfortunately the reset button doesn't seems to work. I can't get through the initial setup, when I push the reset button then I click on the continue button on the web interface, nothing happens. I can't reach the upgrade page, already tried from Linux, Android, different Web browsers... Anyone having the same issue ? What can I do ? Thx
  24. Just bought a Tetra a few weeks ago. Every time I shutdown or reboot the Pineapple, it factory resets. Nothing saves, and I have to go through full setup everytime. What can I do to stop this or exchange it?
  25. Wondering what the specs are for bandwidth of radios in the Pineapple Tetra. Digital power meters use frequencies somewhere around the 2.4ghz WiFi signals. Curious to see what they say and wondering if the Tetra can be used to listen to them (no way would I try to lower my electric bill...trust me, I'm from the government and I'm here to help) I'm sure they would find little humor if they found someone that was altering what the power meter (gas meters too...some places even water meters)...
