  1. Hello together, i found a way to mount at the newest Firmware a USB-Stick from the Wifi-pineapple Nano I have a SanDisk USB-Stick with 32GB of Memory at the first time i plug the stick in it dosent work but if i do in the coomand line via SSH type his "fdisk -l" i saw the usb stick but i wasnt able to mount it so i was loocking for "dsmesg" an saw at the end was written " 2366.110000] sd 7:0:0:0: [sdb] Write cache: disabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA " i dont really know what that means but i was then loocking in google for "opkg usb driver" and then i found this https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/usb.essentials so i was just do all stuff just updating it with ignoring errors and after that i was chaneging the fstab file to: config 'global' option anon_swap '0' option anon_mount '0' option auto_swap '1' option auto_mount '1' option delay_root '5' option check_fs '0' config 'mount' option target '/sd' option device '/dev/sdb/' option fstype 'auto' option options 'rw,sync' option enabled '1' and you have to format to ext4 your stick via ssh or on your Webinterface. after that you just need to refresh the page and i saw then a drive "/dev/sdb" and there it is !!! MY USB Stick ! i hope i was helping there some guys. And a really sorry for my bad english :( Greets from Germany Nico!
  2. hello everyone, i just got my wifi pineapple a few weeks ago. i have been trying to troubleshoot it myself but i just cant seem to figure out what is going on with my nano. i set it up correctly and followed the directions like i was supposed to. then when i go to run the guided setup everything goes smooth until it tells me to connect my pineapple to my computer. i connect it but it doesnt seem to recognize it. now i connected it to my laptop and can go to the website with it and its fine but in order for me to connect it to the internet my computer for some reason will not recognize it . if anyone can help me that would be very much appreciated. thank you!
  3. I have a question about using the sidejacking tools built into kali linux like hamster and ferret in conjunction with the wifi pineapple. This came about because i was using the pineapple module "Dwall" and seeing the cookies pass by. So if i fire up ferret and hamster on my kali machine to pick up the cookies that dwall picks up what is the best interface to use to achieve this? Do i use eth1 with i am using to connect my pineapple to my computer or maybe wlan0 which is my interface connected to the internet? I also have an eth0 interface because i have also have another ethernet cable from pineapple to computer (not really needed just didn't want to lose the cable lol) As you can see i have a few interfaces and i was wondering which one i should use. Hope someone can clear this up for me, thanks
  4. I have a pineapple nano tactical elite with the additional usb wifi adapter which becomes wlan2 and I use it for client mode to give to pineapple internet access. This works great on my home wifi however I am unable to get internet access when I try and connect to an open wifi hotspot mostly due to that access point having a web portal to accept the conditions or something. How do I go about accepting this so I can get online. When I use just my phone for example I am able to connect to the access point and open a web browser and enter the appropriate details. But how can this be accomplished using the pineapple so I can successfully use client mode?
  5. So the other week I posted TWO threads about my Pineapple Nano and Tetra. I have not recieved much information on the posts from anyone. I am just wondering why nobody is able to give me an answer for the fact neither of my devices are capturing clients? I have watched the YouTube vid by Hak5 on "Going from prime to primeap" - Where he shows you adding the MACs to the Pool, also adding the SSID to the pool, enabling deamon and every check box, and then deauthing everyone off the network... The deauth DOES NOT WORK. And I am not receiving ANY clients?
  6. So i have set my Nano up. I have updated to the lastest firmware. I have gone into recon mode and clicked scan over 15 seconds. I have picked up my router that all my devices are connected to in the house. I went down the list of associated devices and added them to the filters. I also turned filters to allow... I went into the PineAP and ticked all the boxes. I then went back to the recon page and Deauthed my router... But it is not connecting any devices? How come this is? I am still browing the web on my phone (i tried both on the windows and connected to an android and both times no associated clients) I am however sending out a spoofed AP named Open Wifi... But that is not my goal? My goal is the make every device connected to my router, actually connect to my pineapple and then into my wifi? But no devices are being captured? P.S. Will the nano also pick up mobile phone devices? I have had some problems in the passed with MITM techniques not actually picking up mobile phones (pref new ones like the s7 edge and the iphone 7)
  7. I just bought a Pineapple Nano Tactical Elite. I don't understand how to wirelessly connect to an AP with the included USB WiFi thingy. I understand how to interface with it though. If somebody could tell me where I can instruct the Pineapple to use the third-party radio, that'd be great. Also, has anybody had trouble with their pineapple? My web interface tends to freeze after a few minutes on proper power (I've tried to factory reset a few times), it can only be temporarily fixed when I restart the Pineapple (and ssh works when it's frozen, weird huh?). Anyway, thanks for everyone's help in advance. -Matt London
  8. Dear Hack5 !! I am a manager in Chile South america of a 1 to 12 grade school and I need to know if I can monitor traffic from Android & Iphone phones by 3g signal and wifi network Be very surprised with the explanation of Darren in Breakthrough in Natgeo Channel, And I am very interested in purchasing product.... but is possible get to Traffic report wifi & 3g I hope I can help with this Thanks in Advanced
  9. Hi Again! So I have had the wifi pineapple for a couple of weeks and the results have been mixed. I have not used that much and I can say that it is at least a really good concept. Anyway when I today looked at the module SignalStrength I noticed that wlan0 is so much stronger than wlan1. This concerns me because is not wlan1 used always for the offensive attacks like PineAp and other stuff. I don't know if my pineapple is broken or not but this could be why my results have been very poor. I'm using the same antennas for wlan0 wlan1 As you can see is the differences pretty big. PineAp is disabled and the Pineapple was freshly factory rested. I have not contacted Hakshop but will maybe do in the future. I think it should not behave this way or should it? Very poor performance when running PineAp so I expect not...
  10. Hi to everyone, I was just looking through the latest upgrade release for the Pineapple Nano, and what I found was possibly a cause for concern. I was using the Hex editor wxHexEditor easily downloadable or installable through kali linux. Its a GUI editor so its easy to read and use. I dont profess to know loads about code but was thinking of possibly giving it a go in trying to re-engineer this code with better code at some point in the future. I was a bit dismayed and taken aback when I used the Disassembler panel feature to find that a lot of the code seems to have invalid instruction flagged!! I dont know whether this is in anyway some kind of normal for so much code or is there something to be alarmed about ? This may explain the reasons why so many Pineapple users are witnessing extraneous problems with their nano Pineapples. Please see the printscreen uploads taken of the editor with disassembler on the far right. Best, Miko
  11. Ayy I recently received my hak5 elite kit with my wifi pineapple tetra, and I've realised that the tetra isn't exactly what I thought I needed. I think I would be much better off with a Nano. So here are a few questions - 1. Is the Nano rechargeable, and if so how long will it last on a fully recharged battery 2. What are the MAJOR differences between the nano and tetra (Can the nano do all the stuff a tetra can) 3. Do you think they will be willing to swap my Tetra for a nano (I know this is a lot to ask but it would be awesome if they can seeing the tetra is worth more than the nano) Cheers
  12. My Wifi Pineapple Nano Tactical Elite edtion just arrived and I have some problems with it. The Wifi dongle wich it came with disconnect's after around 5 minutes, my system logs gives the following: Tue Jun 6 15:53:31 2017 kern.info kernel: [ 394.880000] wlan2: authenticate with e4:f4:c6:XX:XX:XX Tue Jun 6 15:53:31 2017 kern.info kernel: [ 394.940000] wlan2: send auth to e4:f4:c6:XX:XX:XX (try 1/3) Tue Jun 6 15:53:31 2017 kern.info kernel: [ 394.950000] wlan2: authenticated Tue Jun 6 15:53:31 2017 kern.info kernel: [ 394.960000] wlan2: associate with e4:f4:c6:XX:XX:XX (try 1/3) Tue Jun 6 15:53:31 2017 kern.info kernel: [ 394.960000] wlan2: RX AssocResp from e4:f4:c6:XX:XX:XX (capab=0x1411 status=0 aid=2) Tue Jun 6 15:53:31 2017 kern.info kernel: [ 395.000000] wlan2: associated Tue Jun 6 15:53:32 2017 daemon.notice netifd: Network device 'wlan2' link is up Tue Jun 6 15:53:32 2017 daemon.notice netifd: Interface 'wan' has link connectivity Tue Jun 6 15:53:32 2017 daemon.notice netifd: Interface 'wan' is setting up now Tue Jun 6 15:53:32 2017 kern.info kernel: [ 395.120000] wlan2: deauthenticating from e4:f4:c6:XX:XX:XX by local choice (Reason: 3=DEAUTH_LEAVING) Tue Jun 6 15:53:32 2017 daemon.notice netifd: Network device 'wlan2' link is down Tue Jun 6 15:53:32 2017 daemon.notice netifd: Interface 'wan' has link connectivity loss And when the dongle is working then for some reason my SD-Card is not showing up, I am using a Sandisk 16GB Micro SD Ultra. 13. Hello I made a simple module that lets the user run commands without having to use ssh. I am pretty new to php/js and web development in general so the codes isn't the greatest, but it works. I made it because there are certain things I cant do from the webpanel, like running mana or the bettercap script, but this module lets me run these scripts directly from the webpanel. https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/39096-mana-attack-for-the-pineapple/ https://www.evilsocket.net/2016/09/15/WiFi-Pineapple-NANO-OS-X-and-BetterCap-setup/ The module is simple to use. Just save a command under settings, module.php will save it in a csv file. When you run a command it will be executed like this. "command > /dev/null 2>/dev/null &" so you wont get any output. When you delete a command be patient because I used python to delete commands, and python takes a few seconds to start on the pineapple. !!LINK TO THE MODULE!! https://github.com/L0rd-Kam0S/Alias
  14. I am trying to setup wifi pineapple nano but when I get to the part with load bulletin it crashes my PC and gives me the error in this picture. Also when I try to do "firmware upgrade" to also check if it's working I get this error: "Error connecting to WiFiPineapple.com. Please check your connection." Any Help?

  16. Just curious if its possible to use the Social Engineering Toolkit with the Wifi Pineapple. Here is what i am thinking about but due to my hardware limitations at the moment and my friend who i test this stuff with is on holiday with his family i can not test this legally and i would never break the law so right now i am unable to test this out and i keep thinking about it and the more i think about it the more i want to know if its possible. I have say a Wifi Pineapple Nano or Tetra as it doesn't matter which one and a laptop running Kali Linux with the Social Engineering toolkit installed. I use SET to clone say facebook as an example (before my hardware limitations as was able to use evil portal to do the same thing but i have never tried it this way before). So i have my pineapple plugged in and it is up and running with no errors to my computer running SET with facebook as my example. On the pineapple i run dnsspoof to make sure that anyone connected to my pineapple the tries to go to "facebook" is redirected to my kali machine running my SET server. Now since they are connected to my network via the pineapple when using the dnsspoof module i should only need to spoof the internal IP address of my kali machine which SET is running, right? Is this possible? As i said i can't test this out yet but i am very curious. Thanks guys
  17. Can someone tell me what I have to make so I can read the output of my decoding? That would be cool.......;-P
  18. sorry for the tag vomit, i just wanted to get as much meta to make this relevant as i couldn't find much along what was happening with me in the search. I know there is an extremely small staff in the warehouse and any questions go into a zendesk queue. and that's totally fine. i'm cool with that and the wait. i get it. my steps were the following: 1. order the items (2 pineapples and a yagi) 2. make purchase 3. tell my CC custserv that this is a VALID transaction as fraud detect grabbed it immediately 4. check order status (pending) 5. wait 3 days, order is cancelled. 6. repeat with same results. 7. publicly ask questions to @Darren Kitchen on twitter. (yes, he is nice enough to respond direct to me) 8. email and get a zendesk ticket (i never even check my own zendesk queue) 9. harrass @mubix via messenger on this board, skipping twitter. 10. now toss it to everyone else to see if i can get some help. now, with that being said... anyone else experience this same thing? i can't tell if its my CC cancelling the order or the hak5 shop. the purchase goes through, hits my card and then goes to "pending". on status and everything. wait 3 days and then it cancels. this has happened twice now and to avoid the old "insanity is the same thing" adage, i come to the crowds of my people. anyone?
  19. Hey all, I just ordered my Wifipineapple nano a few days ago, and it will be getting here soon. I've read through some of the documentation, but I was wondering if there were any tips or suggestions people had in regards to what you should do with it when you first get it. So, any suggestions? Thanks!
  20. Hi, I love the bootstap interface on the pineapple but the very bright default colours give me terrible eyestrain. So I made this and thought I would share. WIFIPineapple-TETRA-NANO-Themes https://github.com/3mrgnc3/WIFIPineapple-TETRA-NANO-Themes?files=1 Hope others enjoy it too. EDIT: I'll post some screenshots tomorrow so people can see it properly before trying it out. I don't have my TETRA powered up right now and its sleepy time here in the UK right now. If anyone else has any themes/skins and wants to, they can send me a link and I'll add them to the repo. I intend to have a go at making a theme changer module sometime in the near future. When I get time that is. UPDATE... Here are the screenshots I promised. 3mrgnc3
  21. Hey. Evening friends. First post in the forms. If your reading this DK, I LOVE THE SHOW! Lol. Both you and Shannon make it easier to understand concepts. Because of you two I bought a ThinkPad for my own Kali rig. Anyway, I received my pineapple tetra in the mail Monday. I've spent about 35 hours trying to get it to work. After discovering the joys of the wp6.sh, I've been trying to test it in my own house. I have the IP addresses right. I know this because half the time wp6.sh gets the thing online (checking the bulletins on the main page) but I have yet to get a client to the other side of the tunnel so to speak to gain internet access. And you see if can't get Alice down the rabbits tunnel, there will be cold tea for the Mad White Hatter. Lol. Is there a way to turn down the WiFi signal Strength? I think that's the issue. I turned off the discoverable AP's, I uninstalled all the moduels and made sure PineAP is off and I can't connect to any other WiFi in my house. But the second I unplug it, back to normal. I'm also noticing really weird activity. For example sometimes my Pineapple SSID with have like 30 discoverable clones on all my devices or in the client section (when I can actually get something to connect to it <yes I turned off filters>) it's displaying the wrong SSID's for the mac addresses. I'm starting to come too two conclusions. Either the signal strength is way too high and that's what's wrong or the pineapple is defective. I'm gonna try reflashing the firmware, but I think it's now done over-the-air.
  22. Hi I bought a pineapple tetra a few days ago, and im trying to share the internet connection, im already updated the firmware and all the pineapple initial setup, and then i run the connection sharing script, and it restart the wifi pineapple and cant connect to internet. spineapplenmask=255.255.255.0 spineapplenet=172.16.42.0/24 spineapplelan=enp0s20f0u6 spineapplewan=wlp4s0 spineapplegw=192.168.1.1 spineapplehostip=172.16.42.42 spineappleip=172.16.42.1 As seen above my internet connection interface is the wireless integrated adapter of my laptop. Does anybody can do it?
  23. Problem: Work provides public wifi but it blocks SMTP outbound. Idea: I have a freedompop 4g hotspot. Could I use the wifi pineapple to connect to the public wifi and connect to the 4g hotspot. Then use the pineapple to selectively route some types of traffic over the 4g?
  24. Hi all, Would you be able to tell me how I can send Notifications on the Notifications tile on the Dashboard page of the Pineapple firmware.? Many thanks
  25. Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and is not sure if this question has already been asked or not but What is the weight (in grams) of the Wifi Pineapple Nano with and without the default antennas? Thanks!
