  1. I run Kali Linux on my laptop and I'm pretty new to all this, trying to learn. I am having some issues connecting my WiFi PineApple Nano to the internet. I have gone through the the guided connect 20 plus times trying different things and I've tried to tinker with the manual setup as well. I read some other threads as well with what sounds like similar issues and I think it has something to do with a default gateway issue. I have searched and searched for some tips on fixing this and havnt seen anything helpful. I'm asking for a nudge in the right direction on how to fix this and if I figure t
  2. Hi, my pineapple nano is connected to Windows 10 , the whole setup has succeeded , and there is a valid internet connection on the device. I check that by getting the latest Bulletins from the main dashboard. Now for setting up the PineAp, i'm trying to make a free access point available and can not get any internet access on the other clients with the error " Could't authenticate connection" example from an Android phone. Any suggestions? PineAp setup: 1. Allow Assosiation - check Capture SSIDs to Pool -check Broadcast SSID Pool - c
  3. Hello, so I got my Tetra last week and I love it (still learning to use it). My dilemma, I have iphone xr my employer provides, do not want to use it for pen-testing. I had android phone, got rid of it - did not need it. i HAD a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 - with no tethering capabilities (version 7.2 android OS) which now after trying to root it, is a boot anchor - literally. I screwed it up. So - question - I have several laptops, one runs kali which I am using for tetra - does anyone have any suggestions on what I can buy new or used that does not require me to have monthly cell phone service
  4. Tmux - Compiled for the WiFi Pineapples I'am posting this to the forums after a request from @kbeflo. He meant other people also would be interested in using this. Tmux is a "terminal multiplexer", allowing the user to switch between different programs in one terminal. I will not be providing extensive support for this. If you're curios about how it's working, try googling it. ? EDIT: 17.May-2018: Finally, working! [Download]
  5. If I get the Ralink USB WiFI RT5370 for my Nano, do I need to SSH and issue any command for the Nano to recognize and use the Ralink? What I would like to do if possible, is to access WiFi Pineapple Connector via a WiFi connection as opposed to having my cell phone physically to my Nano.
  6. Upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04, ran the wp6.sh script. The pineapple would work after I disconnected and reconnected and reset Network Manager but it would work sometimes. The Route Table was also messed up, it had dual entries for 172.16.42.0 as an example. Instead I came up with procedures that work really well. Take a look ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- prior to plugging Pineapple in #Ensure /etc/resolv.conf has DNS entries if not add DNS, ignore warnings nano /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d #If nothing there add
  7. So I just got my pineapple very recently and I had a simple question. how do I forced people to connect to my network. here's an example. I'm at Starbucks and the original Starbucks Wi-Fi is running. so I created a fake Starbucks SSID for people to connect to. Is there a way to forced people to connect to my fake Starbucks instead of the original?
  8. Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and I would like to solve a problem that I have with my pineapple nano wifi. I received it 2 days ago and the first day was perfect, but today I wanted to start making manuals to save them and get the most out of the Wi-Fi but to my surprise I see that the cpu is 100% and when I try to activate the PineAP or perform a search the device reboots just leaving it unusable. I have installed several modules without any problem but at the time of performing another operation, the antennas are very hot and I don't know why this overheating is due. Could

  10. Hi everyone, I bought a wifi pineapple about a couple of years ago. I've been searching for a battering thin enough to fit the case and be plugged using the U shaped usb connector. I know about the anker and pineapple juince models.. however, I can't find them online (shipping to belgium). Has anyone else found another battery that fits?? Thanks a lot!
  11. I lost the cable that came with the pineapple and am looking for a replacement. All the cables I've seen on amazon don't seem to match the one that came with the pineapple. I think I'm looking for a male to a male and female.
  12. Hi everyone, just started out with my pineapple so bare with me. I have set my pineapple up on my laptop previous to this post and was working fine. But now i wanted to set it up on my Galaxy s8 and when i power on the pineapple and connect my phone, it gets stuck on "Waiting for connection". I have enabled tethering and yes my carrier supports tethering. Not really sure what my next move is.
  13. Hi everyone, We just released firmware version 2.5.x for the WiFi Pineapple, vastly improving the PineAP engine. Expect greater results on your next wireless engagement with this release. Changelog 2.5.4: Recon Fixed an issue where scan times would be invalid in non-Chromium web browsers. Changelog 2.5.3: Clients Fixed an issue where SSIDs would not populate. 14. Hi all, im just after buying a nano and setting it up on android as i thought that looked easier. however when i wanted to try it out and get modules i put an sd in it... and nothing happened, no lights flashing, no gui changes... nothing. so i hopped on my windows pc to try see if the card worked and it was fine. i put a .txt file with like one sentence in it on the card and then put that in the nano...nothing again, even after formatting the card in the pineapple the .txt file was there. then i cleaned the sd with diskpart on windows and reformatted it. i then tried again wit
  15. Hi Today, I received my pineapple nano, after a long time waiting. Finally, I connected the nano to my computer and it’s boots up. After a few seconds, the connection over the USB port was initializing but never established. After trying to identify and retrieve a IP address the connection dropped. Over Wi-Fi there are no problems with the connection. So I upgrade the nano with the latest software, over Wi-Fi, hopefully to solve the ethernet over USB problem. Without any result. After logging in, the dashboard shows me a 100% CPU usage. I really don’t know why, the nano is completely de
  16. Hey guys This morning I received my Wifi Pineapple Nano Tactical Elite and set it up using this tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nv1eiIwOPKo Everything works fine, except for one thing. I set up an open access point called "Wifi123", then connected to it on my phone. The dashboard displays 1 client connected, but my phone doesn't get any connection. I tried to connect to the access point on 2 other devices and none of them got any connection. Any help with giving the access point internet would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  17. Hi, I have a WiFi Pineapple Nano which I recently purchased with the intention of testing the following: Scenario: smart devices and a smart phone within a home environment, with apps on the smartphone used to manage these devices. All connected to GuestWiFi WLAN. I have a HomeWiFi WLAN which I connected my laptop and other computing devices too. Both WLANs use the same power line home extender service (TPLink) I wish to: 1) Use the Nano to sniff traffic on the GuestWiFi WLAN 2) Perform a MiTM by either creating a PineappleWiFi SSID and force all devices to con
  18. I am having a network manager issue ever since setting up my nano. The nameserver seems to have permanently been changed to 127.0.0.53. I have to go to resolv.conf and add a nameserver (using 8.8.8.8) to connect to internet. I tried going into the network manager gui but the setting doesn't seem to take. Since resolv.conf is generated by NetworkManager; it obviously resets everytime NetworkManager restarts. If I don't go in an update the nameserver I am connected to the internet (able to ping 8.8.8.8) but I am not able to dig google.com. I can access the pineapple wifi page before I add '

  20. I just got my WIFI Pineapple (nano tactical) and would like to start testing it. I setup mine with a Mac, and everything seemed to work great while it was connected to the USB. However, when I disconnect it from the USB, install the battery pack, and the wifi dongle, I can connect to the Pineapple, but now there is no internet connection, but everything else seems to be working properly. Except I did notice that in the "Networking" tab, in the "WIFI Client Mode" it shows both the wlan1 and the wlan2. When I scan using wlan2, it says "No networks were found." Any help in thi

  22. Hello everybody I'm new to this but I'm pretty familiar with how to have it up and running on Android. Mike recently bought a WiFi pineapple nano tactical kit I upgraded the firmware and did the setup via Android. I got the internet connection going pretty much everything is looking good however I'm having trouble understanding the wifi dongle that the tactical kit came with. I do know that you need it to set wlan2 how can I manage to do that on Android? 25. I just got the pineapple nano in the mail today. I tried hooking it up to the Note 4 and enabling the USB tethering as shown from the setup video. For some reasons there have been issues enabling the USB tether. I'm not sure if it's because I am using Verizon. Are there any ways to go around this issue.
