1. Hey everyone, Thoughts on methods to preserving the downloaded modules prior to a firmware update? As most of us have done, the modules installed are to a usb drive attached to the Pineapple, however updating the firmware or resetting will of course remove the menu items installed. Has anyone found a way to alleviate this issue? So far I've thought of simply backing up the :1471 gui page and replacing the html/php file, but I feel that may be somewhat sloppy, especially with any upcoming firmware updates which may give a refreshed look to the gui itself. I personally do not enjoy re-downloading all of the modules, especially since they are already present on my thumb drive, simply to have them appear as installed and re-pinned to the menu bar, so any light or bright ideas are very welcome. Cheers and thanks everyone, great community.
2. Multi-payloads - codenamed "Naked Ducky" http://code.google.com/p/ducky-decode/downloads/ Long awaited I know. Its called m_duck.hex, can also be found in the svn repo. Its not the best piece of firmware I was hoping for, and its rather limited in its application. But you can now trigger multiple payloads! You need to create 3 files on the sdcard, and have a naked ducky (no case) 1. inject.bin - default; ducky will always run this on insertion into a computer 2. inject2.bin 3. inject3.bin Now how do we trigger inject2/3.bin??? With the ducky still connected and naked (no case, sucks I know), enable NUMLOCK (inject2.bin) or enable CAPSLOCK (inject3.bin). Then push the reset switch on the naked duck, to trigger the 2nd/3rd payload. Not the best solution I know. But I havnt had a lot of time this last year on ducky development. And for those interested I still havnt solved the composite problem of having both HID and Mass Storage Support. Been stuck on solving this problem where you can select different payloads based on keyboard lights, without resetting the Ducky - Fail on my part :( Please, Test the new firmware, and report problems here. Thanks Snake PS. I tried to put a copy of the the files needed to flash the ducky on the website above, if I've missed anything please let me know.
3. I just aquire my pineapple mk4 is was on firmware 2.4.1 then i update the box 2.7.0 correctly. But i have some trouble like when i try to mount the monitor ,.enable or disable wlan0 with reaver that not work i cannot scan any ap. In command line reaver works perferctly. I try to reinstall firmware manually , i try to downgrade upgrade again . Same problem Any comments will be welcome. Thank to all for your help. May be my hardware have some trouble i don t know.
4. Since people around the globe are struggling to find all the original Ducky Code. I have chucked it all up on Google Code (with help from Dnucna). http://code.google.com/p/ducky-decode/ Find all Firmware Find Flashing Software Find Dnucna's much improved Encoder v2. Find old Encoder version 1 Find example of ducky-decode.pl (current only decodes US languages) - if you ever wanted to know what script the ducky was preinstalled with (anything nasty or simply a harmless message :) (depending where you obtained the Ducky)) Most importantly you can find updates. --Snake
5. First of all I'm working with a backtrack 5 VM through parallels. Been working on this for 14 hours straight, so I'm desperate. I built my own ubertooth, checks out fine. flashed the bootloader onto it just fine too. Now i'm working on flashing the bluetooth_rxtx.bin file onto it using ubertooth_dfu but I keep getting the following error: No module named core Traceback (most recent call last): File "ubertooth-dfu", line 318, in <module> print dfu.get_status( ) NameError: name 'dfu' is not defined.
The command I use:
python ubertooth-dfu write bluetooth_rxtx.dfu
bluetooth_rxtx.dfu is in the same folder as ubertooth-dfu. I've also tried flashing .bin, .hex, and all the rest of the stuff I can find. I have the device in DFU mode with the only method I can, bridging pins 1 and 3 with a paper clip. Seems to work just fine as everything lights up to show DFU mode. If anyone has the SLIGHTEST idea how I might could fix this, I'd be ever so thankful. And to the person who helps most/gives me a fix is of course the $20 bounty, if allowed on the forums. I've tried everything i can on both mac and backtrack 5 linux, seems like I've got everything but one small detail. Thanks in advance for any and all replies! -alphax
6. What is the latest firmware that is compatible with the MK3 pineapple? Thanks.
7. How do I find the newest firmware version for the duck ? (it's a white one) I am missing the mass storage support :/ I can only find a V1 on the https://github.com/h.../wiki/Downloads page.
