well i went with fedora 8 and updated kernel so i can run my wireless network. to bad it dont have wep or wpa but maybe later. we will see.

i use a free site gives me plenty for now its www.free-space.net its new and not to bad

i never have issues with FF and youtube i do it all the time.

man thats the koolest thing ever. All i wanted to do is set up a anntenna on my roof and on my friends roof and try to combine our net connection speeds some how. but this is out of its world.

well if he has 128 it sounds real old i say no more then 500meg but that u would have to look up on the net like everyone else says..

probly not cause u can't do a iso from a directory it needs to be in a root and alot of the files might be the same like in windows u got autorun in almost all cd's

well im far from a newbie to freebsd but it is fickle to setup these days. also I like the easy update install of new programs to freesbd

well topic says it all. I got this laptop it seems to only work well with vista i really dont feel like leaving vista on it. i would love to do something good with it. I tried down grading it to xp what a nightmare. missing drivers for just about everything important. model you ask? its a gateway mt3705. i do have a full recovery disk just incase what ever i do with it don't work so any ideas i might just try. so shoot.
