That's true. The challenge isn't installing Arch, but getting it functioning exactly the way you want it. Imho, it's actually a better place to start than Ubuntu because you learn so much more when you aren't even given a GDE to start out with.

That's really easy... it comes with an installer that you basically just press next-next-next on lol.

Woot, new PC parts arrived today ^_^ Don't plan on staying on Vista for long, but I didn't feel like installing Arch and then doing a decent amount of work to get a decent setup going tonight.

That's impossible, you need a driver to communicate with the hardware...

You can use the UrlDownloadToFile() API to download the update and then just use the Shell() command to run it.

I got it from a .hack thread in /w/ which might not even exist anymore. I get almost all of the walls I use from /w/.

Linux can only run games that run on OpenGL which isn't very many, and even then you'll have computability issues because WINE isn't perfect.

Am getting new PC ^_^ Specs: Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-MA770-DS3 CPU: AMD Phenom X4 @ 2.3ghz RAM: 2 x 2GB DDR2 @ 1066mhz HDD: 1TB WD Black GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 3780 w/ 512MB All the parts should arrive by the 9th :3 So excited, especially for the 1TB because now I don't have to delete anything anymore to make room for new stuff. Still debating if I'm going to put Linux or Windows on it since BSD has crap support for 3D acceleration on ATI cards.
