  1. I'm interested in turning my Fon into a wifi jammer. I tried the tutorial here: http://www.fonerahacks.com/index.php/Tutor...ess-Jammer.html but it didn't work. It did some wonky things to the airwaves but neither my iBook G4 nor my EeePC 701 4G were denied access to the local wifi. The iBook had the wifi-icon going on and off every other second or so but it never actually lost the connection. So has anybody else tried this and gotten it to work? If so, please enlighten me as to what your methods were.
  2. I did this and it worked! So I installed Legend on there and then I did this: http://fonerahacks.com/index.php/Tutorials...ess-Jammer.html It's supposed to turn the Fon into a wifi jammer. It definitely does some odd stuff to the airwaves but it seems both my EeePC and iBook G4 (running Tiger) are immune. I'm very curious to why it doesn't jam them, but I guess that's a discussion for a whole other thread. Thanks for the help guys!
  3. I had Jasager installed on my Fon 2100 for a while but decided to try something else so... I was going through this guide here: http://fonerahacks.com/index.php/Tutorials...lash-Guide.html I got as far as Step 9, but after a reboot I could no longer access SSH and I can't see the old wifi-AP. I tried connecting directly to the Fon with an ethernet-cable to my computer and try to get some RedBoot-lovin' but when I telnet to the Fon this is all I get: == Executing boot script in 9.900 seconds - enter ^C to abort But no matter how many times I hit Ctrl+C I'm not getting in. All that happens is that after a couple of seconds I get disconnected as the Fon boots (I guess). What it boots into I have no idea since I can't see any wifi-APs coming up after it boots. So I'm guessing my Fon is kinda bricked. So now I'm wondering, what can I do to get it back in working order? I have a copy of the 0.7.1.1 firmware and I could easily build a serial cable if need be. Can anybody help me out? digininja maybe?
  4. Got it working now. Got some fresh batteries and that did the trick! Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSdFjhS8wGw
  5. Has anybody had any success with making a battery pack for the Fonera+? I built a battery pack like the one described in this thread and connected it to my Fonera+ but it doesn't seem to give it enough juice to operate fully. It might be that the batteries aren't completely fresh but I have no way to check since these are the only for AA-batteries I have at home at the moment. When I turn on the battery pack the power LED lights up, then it flickers a bit then comes back on glowing steady, then the other LEDs flicker a bit and go out after a second or so. All in all it seems like the Fonera+ is rebooting over and over again, and the wifi never comes on for long enough for the access point to be spotted and connected to.
  6. I just got my La Fonera+ yesterday (haven't had time to get hacking at it yet) so I'd be very interested in knowing about this as well. My firmware is 1.1.1r2 though.
