its getting wifi access is not the problem the key is supplied to me but I want to open a port so I need to access the routers gui

I know usually you don't like to answer these questions but this is nothing malicious I just want to know the easiest was to obtain the password for a router because moved into an apartment building that has wifi included but would like to open a port so I can use torrents. so if anyone can help me does this I would appreciate it.

I have about 6 HDD siting around and IDK if they are good or not and wondering if there is a prog that I can attach my HDDs with an external usb and test them?
