  1. Meraki's location feature works via mesh, it basically triangulates devices on a defined floor plan where access point locations are known and there are more than one. You can judge distance based on signal strength with one AP but you'd never really know exactly where a device is just that it's so many feet from the AP.
  2. I asked about this in the forums along time ago and found it to be too much work and not enough time to do it. Thanks for making it easier!
  3. For the fon i'd rather use the OLED version cause its nice and small. i can just imagine hacking it into the case to look real sick.
  4. Stand alone no. hamster and ferret are windows command line utilities. It will port to Linux as per their blog BUT it will not run on something like the Fon (maybe if you have 2 back to back but i doubt it)
  5. I know Orange is busy but it would be nice to see something sooner rather then later. Hopefully Digi and Orange can colaborate soon and bring us something really kickass.
  6. Wouldn't it be possible to install MeltyBloods firmware and then just install Jasager as per normal? Or do it our way and then just wget all the packages aircrack, mdk3, cifs etc etc and install them along side jasager. (i'm trying it this way right now and will edit again if it works)
  7. o0o0 this looks like fun hopefully something comes of it. the wireless switchblade.
  8. OK some things should be noted: 1)YOU NEED INTERNET ACCESS TO INSTALL WEBIF... Once you get the f'er flashed with gargoyle go into the settings and set the wireless to AP+client input the SSID you wish for it to connect to including the channel and select bridge wan to lan and change the IP of the fon to something other then 1.1. (i used 2.1 cause my router is 1.1). now switch over to the wan port and restart the router and you now have web access and webif will have no issues.
  9. i have one of these cables on the way from HK so ill add some info once i get it and hack it to bits.

  15. Hardly anything with rf these days, since its changing his stereo tuner its ir. a $10 universal remote works great. If you can find one with JPI pin header behind the battery cover you can reprogram it with the codes for your parabole tuner. this is a great example.
