Probably the transformer on the power board is fine, your problem will be after the transformer and most likely capacitors. Yes "Sparda" you prolly could mod one of the supplys from maplin but he said "I am but a beginner modder, and all the different colored wires are overwhelming".... My advice to you would be to look on the power board for a part number then look on ebay first then google for a replacement power board.

Maybe i was a bit harsh DarkBlueBox, it was in the heat of the moment. My Quicktime player was working but suddenly stopped and wouldn't stream anything, plus the sound has a crackle through it (only with quicktime, all my other players have ok sound) I have done all the quicktime updates but still the same.

Why does Quicktime suck ass? Does it detect i have a pc and not a mac and go into crap mode? Is 20mb/1mb cable, 4gb ram and 512mb video not enough for it?
