So I can't add these priveliges back each time I login?

Hi Yesterday in class people were giving me stuff on there USBs and I was giving them stuff on there USBs, and almost all of them had a VIRUS (including the autorun) So I right-click explore, deleted the RECYCLER folder and autorun.inf On 4 different USBs! They didn't even know they had it! What's the world coming to? BTW: The course I'm doing is an IT course (on networking)... and we're already one semester into it. I thought they should be a little smarter?

What do you want me to do to prove it? Hahah, not exactly! More along the lines of an IBM R63 (or something like that!)!

So there aren't any tricks out there that could elevate my permissions? To at least have my Run button and ability to install Drivers/Programs? Please reply Thanks in advance USBHacker

Hello! I'm interested in escalating permissions on a windows XP Pro computer. It is an account which is connected to a domain. I have access to command prompt. I have access to all files (I believe) on my local drive (C:, including C:\WINDOWS). But I don't think I can delete anything. I tried removing restrictive policies using Dial-A-Fix, didn't work. Tried using Regedit, didn't work. Tried the command line registry editor... also didn't work. I have been able to create an Administrator account on the computer in question. Though when I got to control userpasswords2, my roaming account isn't listed there. Please give me suggestions on how to elevate my permissions. Thanks in advance, Tortilla

Hahaha, pwned! Oh, that reminds me, last year (my last year of school) I used my claymore against a high up teacher, and got his passwords... including the one to the online student grading system! Let's just say I got 6 As in the end of year report ;)

Um, what do people use for Account Permission Escalation? Eg; Turning a normal (non-admin) account into an admin account? I've used Dial-A-Fix in the past, which is pretty good... I've also used RegAlyzer and the command line registry editing tool. What do you use?

When burning the ISO, use ImgBurn on 1x write speed. If that still doesn't work, try Virtualization or Wubi. I never got Ubuntu to install on my comp, and my comp is really good! (Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz, Zalman 9700LED, ASUS P5K-E WiFi, Antec P182, SATA 500GB Hard-Drive, GIGABYTE 8800GTS 512MB, IDE 400GB Hard-Drive, Altec Lansing VS4121 Speakers, 20x SATA DVD Drive, Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 Keyboard & a laser Logitech Mouse!) So if all else fails, just use VMWare (or whatever the free equivalent is). Or install it as Wubi. Hope what I have written helps, USBHacker
