  2. i'm thankful for all the help, and i'm really thankful for your insight! but when someone leaves out steps 2-4 it kinda takes a while before i can get the whole picture. geee one day i hope i grow up just like you......all the rest of us wanted was for someone to explain it step by step.....who know you could just read thru it after having not followed all the steps yourself and still get it right, man what a genius........and not speaking for everyone else that's having problems but i never said i was a hacker never wanted to be..... but its people like you who give the community the status of being complete closed minded assholes, so i'm greatful that irieb has helped me figure this out as well as all others you helped. But i'm most excited that someone of your weight and stature in the community deemed it necessary to chime in on the subject of newbies. oh by the way your break is over, time to start asking people " would you like freis with that"!
  3. yes, heck art this point ive put in a folder c:pandora ive put it in just c dir.....all i need is for someone to help me change the freakin port form 80 to something else!
  4. typed in c:pandora and it states that c:pandora is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file this is getting very frustrating! jesus!
  5. when you tell me to slick run and then a black box should open are you leaving out the "cmd"? it then says that c:pandora is not recognised.....
  6. ok so i'm studip than shit.....i have downloaded the pandora.jar into a file c:/pandora....... what the hell do i do now, and what is cd? just tell me what to do! tell me exactly what to type....... in the command window use this commands: 1) takes u back a dir cd.. 2) gets u to the path of the installation cd path/to/the/install/dir 3) run the app from the installation path java -jar pandora.jar 4)open firefox - use this url http://localhost sorry but none of this works...... dir cd? cd/path/to/the/install/dir...WHAT?! waht the heck are you saying!
  7. i can't seem to get anywhere! when i open pandoras jar it says that port 80 is in use....but i cant seem to get in and change it. i go inot start type cmd and at the prompt type java -jar pandora.jar but then i get unable to access jarfile pandora.jar, sorta new at all this but i'd love to have this work so any help spelled out very simple would help me thanks look forward to hearing form you guys.
