  1. You could just make a batch file to do this, couldn't you? (I guess you'd have to do some sort of bat2exe to convert it though)
  2. I can't wait til I see that one! Although, I haven't heard very much about it, what's going to be so different about it?
  3. Yeah, I can understand that...just as long as you're not planning on using it as like a hidden camera for some weirdo voyeur shit, ya know? And to answer your original question, as far as I know, it's not possible. But! That's just because I've never heard about it being done and I don't know how webcams work really. I think if it is possible, it would probably be different for each webcam... I know you can do annoying stuff with hardware from a script (like opening the cd tray or something like that), but I don't know if the webcam thing is possible or not. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd love to learn something new. ^^
  4. If you don't mind me asking, what would you want to do that for? It sounds kind of creepy to me, but maybe I'm missing the point...
  5. would that boost the range at all? I thought signals from unsecured wireless networks came from houses, not satellites or towers (like cell phones) (unless you have that card that allows you to get internet pretty much anywhere using cell phone signal towers) :)
  6. probably... you could probably just make a batch file to do it... if exist *.wmv copy *.wmv to F: something like that..
  7. That's a good idea :D maybe you could make a .u3p program to skin the LP...there's a bunch of cool U3 programs already on the U3 site (trillian, FF, Portable Vault, etc)
  8. Hey Obi, I just found out how to add the hacksaw to your Switchblade, pretty simple actually xD --=[ Instructions ]=-- [x] Go to your Switchblade folder (hidden) [x] Copy the CMD and SBS folders from your HackSaw to this folder (and configure your hacksaw's email addys if needed) [x] create a little batch file (called Hacksaw.bat in this example) in the Switchblade folder with the following contents: cd CMD go.bat [x] Go to your dump.ini file and edit the Xtras section to look like this: 1=explorer.exe %1% 2=Hacksaw.bat, , Hide (NOTE: make sure you set your "Xtras" = "Yes") (Line 48, just above the Xtras section) (This will run Hacksaw.bat, which in turn runs your go.bat file) (NOTE: If you set the IgnoreMyComputers option to "Yes", the Hacksaw won't run on your computers either :)) @Obi-Wahn: If you still want to make a U3 Version of the HackSaw, that'd be swell, but I don't need it anymore :) --Skunkfoot
  9. bumpty bump my problem... --=[ and ]=-- I think the package is in fact installed to the non-writable partition (mainly because I can't see any indication of it being installed on the writable partition, but I could be wrong...) --=[ and ]=-- It depends on the AV I think. I plugged in my flash drive at my school and the AV caught it and deleted it and I had to reinstall and reconfigure it xD
  10. Hey Obi, I really like the way you made this thing so that it can be added to the LP on my U3, but I ran into a bit of a problem. See, I wanted to add the USB HackSaw to that Switchblade you made, but I can't "just add Hacksaw to your existing Switchblade by copying the SBS folder inside the CMD folder and add the go.cmd to your current go.cmd." because there's no SBS or CMD folders. Do you think you could make a version of the USB HackSaw that's similar to your version of the USB Switchblade? Cause that would be awesome... thanks in advance --Skunkfoot
  11. I think you misunderstood me...I wasn't saying that I would do that at all, I never really needed to cheat. I was saying that I've heard of people doing that before, that's all :P
  12. Let's see what I got in here: Laptop :) wireless mouse U3 flash drive pens, pencils, and a notepad swiss army knife or a multi-tool Ethernet & phone cables extra flash drive blank cd's & dvd's 160 GB external HD linux live cd's assorted lock picks extra batteries (for my lappy, mouse, etc.) some snacks and drinks :D and my laptop has a built in wireless card, but I usually carry a backup USB wireless adapter too, just in case
  13. I've never come across any command-line keyloggers, so my advice is to code one yourself if you can, and if not, I'm sure someone on this site could do it for you if you asked nicely :) As far as the practicality of a keylogger, they can be very useful. For instance, if you're a student and there's a test coming up and you want the answers to "study" with, you could install an invisible keylogger on the teacher's computer :) (or probably just use the HackSaw)
  14. Has anyone found a way to get SYSTEM privileges on Windows Vista? I know how to do it by ending and restarting explorer.exe with an "at" command on XP, but this doesn't work on Vista for some reason. I was wondering if any of you knew a different method that works on Vista :) --Skunkfoot
  15. I just tried this one out dude, and I gotta say, very nice job! :D I did run into a little problem though. See, I was testing this on my other laptop, so when I ran the file the first time, it recorded my comp's name, and since it's set to skip over your own comp without dumping anything, the first 3 times I tried it, I didn't get any output. Then I realized that I'm a moron and edited that option, and it worked great :D
