So, I just recently ordered mine, it should be arriving soon. I've read in some of the reviews that the default distro is crippled and just plain bad, so I was wondering: What should I do with it? Should I leave the distro or should I install another one (which one?). Any suggestions/ideas are appreciated!

So, last night, spur of the moment, I decided to attempt to fix an eMac that has gone through hell. It was hit by a power surge, dropped from about four feet, and has been sitting in a corner ever since. After about 3 hours of command line trickery and Apple's support pages, and a fresh OS install, I got it working. Just as a little background, I'm a highschool student who is hoping to get into IT as I get older (or something along those lines), and so, I wanted to try something new with this computer. Any suggestions?

Is that geektool? I'd love to know how you did that! Mine is much less sexy...

First and foremost, I'd like to say I like having matt on the show. Hes got a great voice for TV and what to me, sounds like a radio voice. You guys need to have another Darren Vs Wess Deathmatch... Oh wait... Well, darren vs someone because that was awesome. The commentary was great and it just seemed like the best combination of booze, technolust, and guns. It doesn't get much better than that. I've found that while though I find myself fast forwarding a bit more since S1(ish), I still enjoy the monthly show, mainly because I can still giggle. One of my favorite moments is still matt walking in on paul playing guitar hero and paul was like "I'm rockin out with my cock out." That one, although very very very VERY scripted, still makes me lol Cheers to the future, the new hakhouse, the partnership with Rev3, and to season 4. Keep up the good work guys

So, I've finally gotten around to making my own website. I've decided that a web presence is necessary for myself, and am just trying to get the word out. Easily Apple. I have always had good experiences with them, and plus iWork is great to work with. (As I am a student). Also, I can play TF2 natively now with Crossover, so all my computer needs have been met!
