I thought shannon doesn't work anymore with Hak5. She still continues Threatwire but she wouldn't participate in the shows (as far as I remember). Maybe she get a bit more views on the Hak5 channel.

Mmmmm, beats me, but I did send her a message congratulating her on the move to her new home. I believe she is setting up a studio room there, so will see how that all goes.😎

Possibly, but that assumes Hak5 actually wants to continue.

Yeah, would be good to get some clarity......but the Threat Wire and Shannon Morse are still showing via Hak5 on youtube, so all a bit strange.......

    I am in trouble.

Its my second time my phone locked with icloud.need help.

    Please guide me.a - z

    I know nothing about hacking

    Hi buddy,

Not sure how long you have had an iPhone for, but the guys are quite right, you do not need to hack your own. Unless, you are phishing for ideas on how to do it? Notwithstanding that, if you are having problems with your iCloud, it could be that your Apple ID is locked or..........(hope this helps you in some way):

If your Apple ID is locked or disabled

If you or someone else enters your password, security questions, or other account information incorrectly too many times, your Apple ID automatically locks to protect your security and you can't sign in to any Apple services. You can unlock your Apple ID after you verify your identity.

If your Apple ID is locked for security reasons, you might see one of these alerts:

    • “This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons”
    • "You can't sign in because your account was disabled for security reasons"
    • "This Apple ID has been locked for security reasons"

If you use two-factor authentication, you need a trusted device or trusted phone number to unlock your Apple ID. And if you have a recovery key, you can use it to help you regain access to your account.

If you use security questions with your Apple ID, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to unlock your account with your existing password or to reset your password. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to unlock your account, your Apple ID will remain locked and you can try again the next day.

    Hey everyone,

It's that time of year again and as you might imagine were very excited for DEF CON. We've been busy working on new features for Buffalo Bulldozer and amidst development we've generated a mostly feature complete (sans DIP switches) and stable port of the 6th generation WiFi Pineapple firmware for the Mark V. Flashing to and from this beta release will require a manual sysupgrade from the console (see commands below). Thank you all for your patience and continued support of the project - we're excited as always to see ever more creativity among the community.

We hope you enjoy this release!
    -The WiFi Pineapple Team

    Download: https://www.wifipineapple.com/downloads/mk5/3.0.0
    SHA256: 45bd51c665e0587ee137fa3ea87c03493b170f9668079ed0cecd4558c266a5ca

    Flashing:

    1. Download the upgrade-3.0.0.bin file linked above
    2. Verify the sha256 checksum
    3. SCP the downloaded .bin file to your pineapple's /tmp/ directory.
    4. SSH in to the WiFi Pineapple and execute the following command:
      sysupgrade -n /tmp/upgrade-3.0.0.bin
    5. Wait for the system to reboot and browse to http://172.16.42.1:1471

Thank you my friend for the information. Much appreciated and keeps us all posted.

Hope you have a great Christmas and superb 2020! 🎄🇺🇸

Will any of the field kits especially the long range booster kit be available any time soon, everything is sold out?

    Hi buddy,

If and when they are they will usually post on the forum. Failing that, you could go to the hak5 website and contact them direct.

Hope this helps in some way.

    Have a great festive period.😎

Send me a pm. I have some free time. You're success will depend entirely on whether or not you're willing to do the research and perform trial and error learning.

    Absolutely no offence bro 🙂

Let me give you an example, and i think many people are in this case...

You are outside and you want to test any device,structure,etc...

In many cases as you know it must be done in a very short time..then it could be Andrax,Nethunter,or any pentest mobile OS based on android, what are the common point of all these pentest tools, you need to burn through a terminal right?

Not a problem at all,i'm a die hard linux lover 😄  ... but honestly typing many commands on laptop no problem, but on a smartphone, with a small screen it's enervant very quickly!!

I'm not going to buy Andrax course, never.

I was on Nethunter for 3 years and my opinion is still the same: timewasting to type commands on small screen in a short time!

    A solution? Maybe...

That's why i talk about UBports above,an ubuntu version for mobile... but at this time you can say me:"Wait! you are still typing commands through your terminal or not??!"

Hmmm i can say both. Both what?

Since you can convert many tools for UBports with Qt library,i'm going to convert many tools with a nice GUI ready to use for smartphone.

For example wifi pineapple is a GUI conversion of many open source tools right?

It's faster to work with GUI especially when you need to make a job in a short time..

Plus working with an android phone with a pentest OS is criminally insecure bro, many security holes,if i remember ssh port is open by default on Nethunter, and many other troubles since your phone must be rooted...

At this time i'm not working with any mobile pentest OS,i'm going to UBports journey 🙂

Nice to talk with you bro,if you want to share any experience i'm open to your point of view 😉

    Hi buddy,

Excellent response and I am glad that you have not taken offence🙏

I genuinely like the concepts that you put forward and I too can see the advantages and disadvantages 🧐. So, what I did (as I have sausage fingers) I purchased a bluetooth keyboard from Rii and hey presto no need to touch the screen on the Nexus, which saves the whole screen and keeps it open and fully deployable.

Really enjoy finding a solution to a problem, and naturally learning new concepts. So, rest assured I will try your way and see how I go.

Keep in touch buddy and I in turn will let you know how things progress.

    Best hunting 😎

Right bro, just talking about Andrax OS,not paid for training, you can get all these tutorials for free since it's same tools than any other linux distro...

*****Please read this in the way it is intended, and do not take offence buddy****************

Yeah, okay.🤓.......you do not get all the tutorials, you get some, if you want the rest you will get charged and nothing arrives (according to several sources).

To be fair, the platform was designed with Android in mind, so your Nexus/Google etc., will thank you for it........but, NetHunter still does the trick IMO.

Having used both, examined the literature from both, I would disagree that Andrax is better than Kali (PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT SUGGESTING THAT YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE), but, it depends on your preference. However, let me know if you decide to buy the training for Andrax, just so I can canvass your views.

Take care buddy and have a great day😎

    Guys why not try this?

    https://andrax.thecrackertechnology.com/

But one thing,i never understood why having 200+ pentest tools (and many are useless) when a lot of us use only maximum 15 tools,i prefer a "classic" linux distribution and to install only tools i need, just my 2 cents...

Regarding Mobile OS i'm in love with my UBports.

    Cheers!

Save your time effort and money..........a friend of mine paid for the training and it never arrived.......lots of 'Wait a short while' messages........finally they got the money back. Nothing but agro..........AVOID............you don't need it, you really don't.........Hope this helps.......😈

Understandable.  There are so many options in the market now it's hard to decide.  Especially if you are new to it all.  If you do make the jump and get one my advice is start with a must have features list to help narrow down the search.  All printers have good and bad reviews but that doesn't always reflect the quality of the printer.

    Thanks fella........great advice as always....😎

Yeah, have to agree, great game with more joining every week, just not as well known as the new, well advertised, headline grabbing...........Fortnite🙃

Still great and does what is says on the tin😜

I think there are some 3D printable cases around the web.  Worth a search if you have access to a 3D printer.

Yes buddy, checked them out, but one thing prevents me from doing that.........I don't have a 3D printer (yet). 😜

Never managed to work out which one was worth purchasing 🤓

As always, thank you for your response, which at least by me are all greatly appreciated😎

Thanks for getting back to my post. My Mac is mid 2010 / Ubuntu is current at 18.4 and can't even run Mojave, I await the next Mac before I get a new one if my blinking video last that long. Right now I am looking for a good rainbow hack.

No dramas buddy........I suppose it is the only way that Apple can justify selling more items........products.......Aps etc.,.......after all, they might not hit the next Trillion Dollars target 😁

Is there a forum anywhere for Mac/Ubuntu, I have noticed that most of what I see is Windows old and new?

    Hi,

One setup runs on Mac/Ubuntu on bootable usb, and this does the trick as it provides the best of both worlds. How old is your Mac? Have you upgraded to Catalina yet? Depending on the age of your Mac, using Catalina could let you dual screen giving you greater viewing split screen versatility and that is about the only good thing that I can see on that Mac version at the moment.

It is meant to give you the easy access to more Apps, but it starts looking like Android IMO 🤓
