I just got Archos 5 its running android. 9 inches is too big but 5" fits in your hand or pocket nicely :) I've found several forums and it looks like this is going to be very hackable :) I'll let you know when I've had it awhile :)

first I've had my lappy running vista for almost 2 years now, and everyone who doesn't like that "new" vista layout can do what I did right click on your start button properties, use classic window. say goodbye to all the vista pretty crap. and hey in control panel you have another "classic view" oh and on my XP machine I still use the classic settings. win 7 is still in beta. when it comes out I'll wait 6 months to a year before I get it. and xp is smoking fast on a 486 smell the sarcasm and vista runs like crap on a single core, and win 7 will run like crap on anything less than a... whatever CPU come out next year.

All I have to say is I still love the show with or without Wess, I'll miss him and I did notice his absents over the last season and a half. Is there any chance of him doing guest appearances?

I've been running windows vista home premium on my Toshiba satellite A135 1.73ghz dual core with 1gb ram for over a year and I've never had any problems with it and yes this is 32-bit machine, it run my games just fine and I do some programming and video editing the video editing is the only thing that slows it down but then unless you have a video toaster everything slows down. :) so get off the its Microsoft so it must be bad. I've use every MS OS since DOS 5.0 and windows 3.1. there are far worse OS out there remember windows ME. LOL I also dual boot with Debian 4.0 rev 3 Linux kernel 2.6.18 and I've said it before live distro's are the training wheels of the OS world you have to take them off sometimg :P

and I was sooooo looking forward to getting the Warhammer OnlineW :) I don't like DLing my games I like the box sets with the CD's and the manuals its just nice to have something physical :) I have both boxes for WOW and BC :)

just put grub on the CD partition and have it point to the other partition with the rest of the distro.

I was watching the new rev3 systm and patrick said if you want to stick a magnet on your thumb drive and put it on the refrigerator you wouldn't have any problems so I got an old 1g usb and did just that I left it on frig over nite and so far it worked just fine no data loss or corruption. I have a 1g geeksquad thumb drive and cracking the case off and using putty epoxy to make a new custom casing should I add a kitchen magnet to it? thinking of putting hak5 logo on it :)
