can i add options to payload connect back to metasploit 12 hours or something like this ,in payload generating proccess thats possible?

Hello, I created java payload, everything works, then I tested it with the computer turned off, I turned off the computer where the metasploit was installed and launched java payload on the victim's computer ... when I turn on the computer where the metasploit was installed, there was no connection on metasploit, how to fix it? how to make sure that payload does not die until it reaches metasploit
