Maybe it is just me, but I think that they all do about the same thing. If you like all the other add-ons. Then I say go with MS Office or Corel Office. But I don't do that much document make or spreed sheets or what not. But OpenOffice is free and it works for what I need it for. But it is a good poll question :)

I tried it out. 1. Virus Scan - No infected files 2. Ran it - No new services running 3. Checked Reg. - No new entries. Overall, it is an alright screen saver. :)

Well, If you want to watch tv on your computer, one of the best ways would to be get a tv tuner card or a tv capture card (same thing). But if you computer already has on, you just usaully need to plug the cable line into the card. (If I'am wrong, please correct me)

This might sound a little stupid, but maybe try using wire cutters. I have done this on other things. It usually grabs the screw right so you can get it to turn once or twice. But it works better on small screws.

I don't know much about impacts on computer systems, but I would wounder about the hard drive. But depending if the computer was on or not. Plus it would depend on were it was hit on too. /me don't know much about impact damage on a computer system.

That I will agree with. I have used mIRC for a long time, and I have use the power pack say for about 3 months, and it has gave me some problems, with some of the scripts, I am guessing one of them had a issue with something after turning bunch of the scripts off. I will re-install mIRC with no add-ons (maybe never again) and see if all my problems are fixed. if not, I will find out really quick...lol... :)

Cool, right now, I am cleaning up my computer, and see if that will fix the problem, but I just to make myself feel better, I don't think I am going to use mIRC or the power pack for a long time. So the safer route for now will be chatzilla or X-Chat ...lol... :)

I think I found the problem when trying to un-install mIRC and the mIRC power pack mod. Seems like this would be the perp...lol /me has learned not to use mIRC anymore.

Ok, I was using mIRC 6.2 with the power pack RC9 mod, and it has a lot of things with is, but I know that I am not going to use it. I will try using Chatzilla and see if that works. (hopes it works). And if it does work, I know that I am not using mIRC again...lol :) /me is afraid to try it, not knowing if it will do the same thing... :

Moonlit, there has to be something on my computer(s) that is making a ping issue, I turned off all the little things, but my guess it that it is the program that I am using or, there is something wrong with the internet connect. I thought that I had the problem fixed. But to make sure everything will be fixed, I am going to redo all the computers that I use. Very sorry again? /m feels like a fool for trying to fix a problem and failed to fix.

I am not sure on how to phrase the question, I was seen that I got ban from the irc for a "ping bot". I mean that is ok that I got banned from the irc channel that is no big problem. Its all good :) . But the thing is, the computer that I was using just for irc, has been acting very funny, and things would happen. For an example, files on the computer would become missing, and new files would show up. Plus the computer would do really weird things (thinking that is is just a really bad software issue with something.) This is maybe a long shot, but would it have been possibly that this computer was maybe broken into (hacked)? But if not, maybe I got some kind of a bots/spy-ware/ad-ware/virus problem. But If I caused any problems/headaches in the irc, I am sorry. But I figure there is at least a week ban (or more), so that is all cool. Sorry for the problem that I caused. :) /me gives the irc ops a hug :)

might be just me, but sounds like something that would make digg.com front page news, plus, would get more people into Hak.5. :) Still, very nice drawing. I don't have any art skill. Still very nice, will be looking to see the novel.

I have firefox, but I use msn messenger, and it tells me when I have a new email. and when I click on it to access my email, it pops open IE. That is the only time that I use IE. For all other things, I use Firefox all they way. Plus, I just use my hotmail account for everything else, it is not my main email account. But thanks for the info though. </me has learned new information>

Well, I have to say that both are pretty much a pain in the butt. But everybody has a thing that bothers them. So in my opinion, why even bring up the point? If you can't read it, don't even bother with it. Plus, a thing that bothers me is the whole Google It. “hey, I need help with some software <blah>." Response: "Here is an Idea, "try google.com before asking a question!" But still, why even bring up the point right?
