Ok, this might be a dumb little question, but how can you tell that a new reply or new topic has been posted in on of the sections? On the old forums, the little picture/icon would change in color, stating that either a new reply or new topic was made. :) two thumbs up on the new forum, looks really good.

Alrighty, Cool, Thanks for the help :P , everything seems to be working a lot better, and smoother, none of them pesky pop-up things, that say, "would you like to let this program access the internet". (things drove me about nuts). I have a firewall built into the router than I'am using. I just never knew that Windows firewall would cause a havoc like this, never had this problem before. Ah, stuff happens. :?

I have did some googling and found this little tut. I was wondering if you guys have any opinions about removing/deleting the Windows Firewall. The only reason, that I want to delete it, because it causes havoc with about 85% of my programs and games. Some times it causes them to lockup or just plane crash. Urban Terror 4.1 A new version of the free multiplayer first person shooter: Urban Terror. Unlike older versions, Urban Terror no longer requires you to have Quake3; anyone can download and play it for free. I thought I would share this with everybody, might be worth a look at, but I think you guys would like it, because some of you play Unreal Tournament 99. (just a thought) I tried it out with a couple of friends on a lan. We like it and we played for a couple of hours.Might be worth a look, maybe if good enough a Hak5Lan game. Everything has its ups and downs, pros and cons, the good the bad and the ugly. But for me, windows vista causes my computer to over heat and shutdown 99% of the time. So, I just stick with XP Pro.

So, my little brother wanted the old file manger program from Windows Me. Problem is, He is running Windows Vista. So, for 2 hours or searching google, I have found how to get the old Windows Me File Manger (winfile.exe) to work on Windows Vista for him. Just for fun and giggles. I zipped it all up. After sitting and talking to the group behind the Project Hackers 411, I fully agree with them on all means/levels/plans of the idea. I might not know a lot about computers, but I sure like building them. Plus I am always up for learning if I need to, even if it takes me a long time. I will try to help with the project, even if it is just information gathering.

Well, that is a lot to think on, I guess I should have made a plan out on paper first before posting a thread. lol But yes, you both are very right; I need to study a good programming language and more. Play around with some coding and get somewhat good at it. Then get into the part of make a game. As the one I suggested being made or what not. Yes, I should make out a simple guide line for rules of computer player, LAN players, and even WAN player. I see that I will have a lot on the plate to see if I can actually go somewhere with this. Well, I always like to see 500 rum become a card game that you can play on the computer, either by yourself, Lan, or Wan. But me, I am no computer programmer, about the only type of computer language that I know is very basic html, but I have been studding a lot on it. (far as I know it seems pretty easy). But, it was an idea, I figured that most or all are really good at what you all do with your skills, from repair, so hardcore IT. Well, like a I said, it was just an idea for a computer game. :)

I think I might have to agree too. As good and easy to use Ubuntu is, maybe after getting so big and popular, and maybe (just a really open minded opinion) That if they get a really big "market share" they might start selling the OS, or might become the "Free Open Source MS"
