  1. I currently use an iPod Classic with the hard drive swapped for an iFlash adapter and 2 x 256gb SD cards to replace them... I have also swapped the firmware for Rockbox (www.rockbox.org). This all works great but I can't help think i'm running with outdated technology..... What is there in existence for the music listener who would like to carry 512gb with him? :)
  2. ...however 2.4ghz has the longer range for the same power output.
  3. This has appeared on my tetra as a new module, it stalls when trying to download it though.
  4. Hi, I'm quite pleased with myself, i've managed to get ARMBIAN onto Amlogic S905X Chinese Android TV box, see here: https://forum.armbian.com/topic/2419-armbian-for-amlogic-s905-and-s905x/ I think this would be a good subject for a Hak5 episode, re-purposing $30 android devices into useful Linux boxes. I haven't managed to put Kali on it but may be you can?
  5. Are there plans to replace the Tetra and Nano at some point? Maybe something with the processing power of the Bash Bunny, support for the latest WPA2 (and 3?) It could have 3 on board wifi adapters, the third being wlan2 to use for remote internet connection. You could call it "Pineapple Punch"
  6. I think it would be possible for someone to make a Pineapple module for Piratebox... any thoughts? https://piratebox.cc/openwrt:manual

    PC Duino V2

Ok so I bought a PC Duino V2 single board pc (similar to a raspberry pi) as it was only £20! I have played with it a bit and the crux of it is the ubuntu repository that supports it has been discontinued so keeping it updates is tricky. Has anyone got any tips on how I might put Kali on it instead?
  9. My guess is somewhere bigger like this? https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/79/00/61/7900617a056645aca77d9d0291770a7a.jpg
  10. I've set the pi to autologin and then added my script to the startup apps.. not ideal but it works
  11. Hmm i've tried that one before but i'll try it again..... doesn't work :(
  12. Back in the day you would just put a command into rc.local and that was that but now rc.local is gone. I've seen many suggested ways of running a script at startup but nothing is working for me and I just wondered if anyone had any ideas? I'm running the Kali on a raspberry pi.
  13. It does if your WAN was the bottleneck for the speed to begin with... :)
  14. Thanks, Kali lets me set it higher but I guess that might be false reporting by the OS....although at the higher powers my reported signal level also improves.
  15. I'm just wondering what the maximum supported txpower is on this adapter?
  16. Is there anything interesting I can take a listen to in the UK with an RTLSDR that isn't encrypted? apart from commercial radio obviously.
  17. My apologies it was probably a little off topic but there was some discussion above on using Windows to develop Linux payloads... i'll put the topic down now :)
  18. Kali and Mint Linux here.... bought a new laptop at the weekend and removed the windows installed hard drive without even booting it once... popped an SSD drive in and installed a better OS :)
  19. Is there an easy way to connect to two wifi networks under linux and bind them together to get increased internet speed? Say if I was in the city and could connect simultaneously to two free wifi sources.... or if my neighbour wanted to lend me his internet... :)
  20. I'd like to have a machine capable of cracking some passwords but don't want to build a big desktop machine. Would it be feasible to use a gaming laptop with an NVIDIA GTX 1050 GPU and use oclhashcat with it. Would it be an order of magnitude better than using just a typical CPU?
  21. Ok i'll have to devote a little time to getting the build root working, thanks for the advice.
  22. What about if I installed OpenWRT on a Raspberry Pi... I heard that was doable... then use the Pi as my little build machine?
  23. Or could you simple install the build tools onto a tetra and use it for compiling binaries for both its self and also a packet squirrel?
  24. What is the general process to cross compile things for use on Pineapples and Squirrels? :)
