  1. Installed the new Cloud C2 community edition (on Ubuntu 20.04) and accessing on Windows 10 machine (1909) with Edge (Chromium), Chrome or Firefox am getting "Page updated" message every few seconds on any page which makes the interface difficult to use.

When accessing the page from Firefox on iOS (iPhone) this does not happen.

Had a look around the forum but could not get it to act normally with the suggestions.

Anyone else experiencing this? have a fix?

Sounds like wrong firmware or wrong device. Like trying to flash a tetra FW onto a NANO for example worth double checking and re-reading the docs

    https://docs.hak5.org/hc/en-us/articles/360010471774-Firmware-Recovery

    Hey,

I have also checked this, but to ensure I did I re-downloaded the tetra factory recovery file (tetra_factory.bin) and follow the reset instructions again. I have a TETRA for future reference.

Any other ideas I can try?

    Thanks

  3. Hi all,

Attempting to get my tetra back online. Received the "Bad Magic Number" error and attempted the factory recovery using the factory.bin firmware. This did not work.

I decided to watch the firmware upload and install process on the uart port. The upload completed and then I receive the following:

A whole bunch of "bad block [long number]" ending in:

    ...

    bad block [1225768960]
    bad block [1226301440]
    Skipped 2304 bad blocks

    ERROR

NAND write: device 0 offset 0x0, size 18874368 ...  18874368 bytes written: OK
    web failsafe upgrade failed!

    Using eth0
    MAC address: 0x0:0x3:0x7f:0x9:0xb:0xad
HTTP server is starting at IP: 192.168.1.1
    HTTP server is ready!

Any ideas? I verified checksum etc to ensure the .bin file was good.

    Thanks,

    Johan

  4. I have noticed that if using the USB eth port of the pineapple you HAVE TO use the Y cable and plug both USB in your computer/notebook. When doing this the wall plug is not needed as the USB will power the pineapple...if you only use one of the USB plugs, the USB Ethernet adapter will not show up...

    ...just from m y experience...

Can anyone tell me how I can upload images for a portal to a folder on the nano? I'm using W10.

    Thanks in advance!

EDIT: So I managed to upload the files using FileZilla, but the next problem is: Devices that connect to my PineApple can see the evil portal, but it doesn't show the images. It looks like it can't access the images.

check the code of the index.php to see what the source (src=) is for the image tags.

  6. I have a problem with the portals.
I have a PineApple V with Evil Portal v2.9 and cloned the template portals to it.

When I activate (let's say the starbuck-login portal) I can see the page correctly in the live preview.

When I test it on a client connected to it - the portal comes up but the pictures and javascript are not run on the client. The webpage is "text-only". I have read some things about problems with the sub directories etc.

The portals are located in the /root/portals directory.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Johan
