  1. Hello Everyone, I hope all is well! I bought a wifi pineapple Tetra, but I'd like it to be wireless and not using my network (testing purposes), so does anyone have any success with a 3g or 4g USB Modem/data plan that works for you?
  2. @Foxtrot the back pack + Pineapplejuice is a nice combo, thank you for your input
  3. I mean the obvious response is "then get a Nano" I have one so let's move on, let's be real. If you are to use this in a public place even if you use the "ominous box" the tetra still needs to be placed where it has internet access to ethernet or phone tethering and where people cannot see it. How does one do pen-testing without making it look obvious at a clients place? For the sake of example say, you are pen-testing a local coffee store... it's a stretch I know but bear with me. You've been hired by the corporate IT team to test the security of the network for users and customers. You can't just stroll on into the shop & bust out that pineapple tetra. So what do you do? Have you made any devices and customized them to work in the field?

  6. all I know is I want more info on this I was at DC25 and saw this and the stickers and it has piqued my curiosity and I can't wait to hear more
  7. Any TES Legends players here?
  8. I am a newb but I am serious in learning about networking and pentesting and was at DC25 this year, most of it did feel like a great portion of it went over my head...but we all have to start somewhere So please bare with me. I was practicing on home network Wi-Fi and connected my Tetra to my laptop via y-cable. [see footnote for videos*•] I'm running Kali Linux on a old dell latitude I know that on some older laptops wont yield enough power for the tetra so I plug in the tetra with the power adapter. I'm following along through the video but when I check for bulletins , and I get a prompt practically saying Nope no internet connection. and I try to go to other sites but I cant. So I tried going to a public place and manually put the Ethernet cable from their port to the tetra and I was able to have internet connection, So does the tetra always have to be connected to a physical Ethernet cable to get it's internet connection? * WiFi Pineapple TETRA: Linux Setup https://youtu.be/gqMW0NeODAQ • WiFi Pineapple Primer - From Recon to PineAP https://youtu.be/eHnQwTCKe2o
