  1. Anyone know where to get a TCXO Clock Module from a US supplier? I ordered from Bangood but their service/shipping sucks. This is the item specifically; https://www.banggood.com/External-TCXO-Clock-Module-PPM-0_1-For-HackRF-One-GPS-Experiment-GSMWCDMALTE-p-1153700.html?utm_design=41&utm_source=emarsys&utm_medium=Shipoutinform171129&utm_campaign=newsletter-emarsys&utm_content=Winna&sc_src=email_2671705&sc_eh=384351fb6a4544241&sc_llid=291542&sc_lid=104858042&sc_uid=RNUAQjbElw&cur_warehouse=CN Would this work? https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12708 Thanks
  2. Does having root get us any closer to using the FW dumps located here? And, will it allow us to modify these dumps and for example remove the NFZ from 800/900? https://github.com/droner69/MavicPro/tree/master/Firmware
  3. I am using APK Studio and it seems to work. I am still learning how to patch etc. You can find tutorials on youtube on how to use it.
  4. I see what you mean. There are many references to logins. One even references the login info being expired and seems to require another login. Hmm, this is going to be interesting!
  5. Ah ok, so that patch does get rid of the login only when not connected to internet. So is it not possible to remove the loggin when internet is working so maps will work? I know you said it could work on the internet if the username/password was hard coded but the point is to not send that info to the server.
  6. Cool! Yeah I am installing apktool now. it will take me some time to get this going as I am not familiar with it. One question, I thought the login removal didn't actually remove it but just logged in silently. Is it actually removed now? I would just point people to the github in the first post for the files but let them read the rest of this for all the info.
  7. Yep, could be a password issue but that is usually preceded by warnings and instructions on how to unlock. Strange that the OP would not understand that or mention it in is message. Oh well. Hopefully it is not an issue. Still a version that didn't require a login would be prudent.
  8. Whow! The user that has the altitude restriction and was told to log out and back in by a DJI rep is reporting the following! "This is simply making me crazier; Deleted Go4 from tablet reinstalled then ask me to log in and when I do so it tells me account frozen." Is DJI now freezing accounts????? We really need an app with no login to the DJI servers at all. EDIT: Seems this WAS an issue with his account. Good that they are not freezing accounts related to this development.
  9. I was going to post this on the FB page but didn't want it to get lost in the noise. Just an FYI that some people are reporting that they are being severely limited in their flight altitude with the latest FW. DJI reps are telling them the following; "Please log out and relog in to the App. You may have to change your password. " Sounds like the reps know that something is going on behind the scenes. Hopefully this won't affect what you guys are doing but it seems even though they are already updated to the latest FW there is something being modified by DJI related to restrictions.
  10. Just a bit of info. I installed the latest version and really like the improvements! But, the ability to disable the Here maps does not work anymore. I was using this method; https://madsrc.com/2017/01/22/dji-go-4-get-google-maps-back-on-android/ Now when I do this, it does show google maps as the provider but I get no maps or imagery. It is just blank. Kinda sucks but I can deal with Here crap maps to get around all the other crap. Strange that it still worked with the previous version. Maybe google looks at the app version before deciding if it will allow access? Oh, and it is interesting looking at all the services for the Go app.
  11. I am unable to install. I keep getting a message that the file appears to be corrupt. I have downloaded many times and get the same issue. Anyone else?
  12. Thanks for all the work on the go app Bin4ry and everyone! One other thing I would like to see added would be to block the Here Maps to force the use of Google Maps. There is a service hack you can use but it requires root on your device. I have found Google to have a lot more detail and resolution. Another great option would be to be able to manually import Google Maps images into the app. Right now I have found you can cache the actual maps by viewing the location in the app and then disconnecting internet however I am not seeing that it is possible to cache the actual satellite imagery.
