  1. Thanks for your responses, appeciated. I found these instructions on how to make an "Onion Pi" which is essentially a wifi access point with TOR... I'll try this and if the impact on speed is too much I'll try and convert it to use the OpenVPN Server
  2. So the latest YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04EmeXSZo_0&t=1156s) on easily setting up OpenVPN on a Raspberry Pi using the StarshipEngineer script is super useful. But I'm wondering if the Raspberry Pi can also be turned into a WiFi Access Point (assuming onboard wifi available, or appropriate wifi dongle connected), thus allowing any devices to connect to the RPi AP and automatically be routed through the VPN for encrypted onward connection to the ISP and public internet. Is this even possible?
  3. Thanks Bob and Davee. I will certainly be using Linux, most probably Kali.
  4. I want to get into penetration testing, and want to use a dedicated PC for the task. I was thinking about getting a cheap second hand machine, but I'm stuck on believing that pre-used computers can no longer be trusted because of possible badUSB firmware infections that are undetectable and unfixable... am I correct in this belief? Thanks in anticipation.
