Normally I would say you could just change the routes to separate the subnets but I've noticed that if you are on the same network as the nano is on in wifi client mode you can also access the management portal by going to its direct IP, in my case, 192.168.168.73:1471 So I suppose if you knew what you were looking for you could just run an nmap scan on a network you were connected to, to see if that particular port was open.
